Shore to Please was a great home for our family of 18! The home is very well maintained and decorated beautifully. The pool area was perfect and the big back yard came in handy for games and our Family Olympics! Arcade game and pool table were also a hit with the kids...and adults.

Overall a great location and home layout, but home was needing some general upkeep repairs at the time of our stay. We had need to make several maintenance requests, unfortunately, but got excellent response from Twiddy. The yard was pleasant, with a pair of foxes and doe and fawn making visits. Hedges made for good privacy and lots of songbirds. Easy and traffic-free route to beach.

Really liked this home. The house was in a great location as our group wanted to be closer to Nags Head. The amenities were enough for our group and glad chose it! A great price for the house and location.

Is there some where to park a golf cart
Excellent question, Angela! Yes, street legal golf carts are permitted in the Southern Shores. You can rent golf carts from OBX Beach Buggies. For contact information, please visit www.twiddy.com/activities/services/. Please note you would need to park in a designated parking spot if driving to the beach.

We just reserved this property for a week in August. What is that building just next door (to the right as you look at the house)? It appears to be a commercial structure.
Thank you for your inquiry, Janet! The building located next to A137 is a commercial building for a local cable company. It serves as a switchboard station and does not have a lot of coming and going traffic.

A137 shore to please is there a way to get to the beach access without going to the main road? it looks like there may be a walkway in the corner of the backyard which leads to a walkway to the next street, which can lead to a beach access but not sure
Great question, Jeff! Yes, there is a sand path/walkway behind A137 that takes to you Ocean Boulevard. From Ocean Boulevard, you can walk north or south to one of the public beach access. You can also use your Southern Shores community parking pass to park at one of the beach accesses located on E. Dogwood, Chicahauk, or Hillcrest.
