Enjoy an unforgettable vacation at “Mallard Cottage Too” in Duck! This traditional Outer Banks beach house is located close to charming Duck Village, for convenient access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The community pool and tennis court is ideally located less than 200 feet from the home. Walk just blocks to the beach for a fun-filled day, or walk to the sound to watch a beautiful sunset or go fishing or crabbing. The home is equipped with a fish cleaning station for cleaning your fresh catch.
The home’s elevator makes it easy to get people, luggage and groceries from the ground floor to the upper two levels. The home’s open decks allow you to choose whether to relax in the sunshine or under the covered deck in the shade. On the top level of the home, the great room’s layout is spacious and family friendly. The game closet is perfect for finding fun in the evenings or on rainy days. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare meals for the duration of your stay. Enjoy meals together in the dining area nearby, with seating for 10. There is one master bedroom on the top level, which includes a private bathroom. A half bathroom is also available on the third floor.
The other master bedroom can be found on the second floor and also includes a private bathroom and access to the deck. There are two remaining bedrooms and one full bathroom on the middle floor. The den on the middle level serves as an additional place to relax. Laundry facilities are available on the ground floor of the home. "We absolutely loved this home! We had a total of 11 people. The rooms were spacious. We put 3 girls in each twin room. Brought a twin blow up mattress for each room. One adult had the pull out coach where both couples had a room of their own. It was very family oriented. The kids were close to the pool (we could see from the balcony) and the beach was within walking distance!"
"It's a lovely home with all the basics needed to enjoy a fun family vacation. We enjoyed the large outside decks with a porch swing. Our family of 7 had lots of room to spread out. The refrigerator had some issues and Twiddy & Co. replied very quickly and had it repaired within 24 hours. The home is located within a 2 minute walk from the house and the beach around 10 minutes."
