"The beach is a 3 minute walk from the house, and there is a partial ocean view from the front deck. Lovely neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with most kitchen items. The house is very comfortable, and the primary bathroom is super nice."

"The Ways Favorite was a wonderful stay for our family. Plenty of space, clean and the big front deck was a wonderful spot to drink coffee while listening to the ocean. Walking to the ocean access takes less than a minute and the beach wasn’t overcrowded as the neighborhood is more residential. The walking trails throughout the neighborhood were a wonderful surprise. We walked/ran everyday. We saw lots of wildlife, including a mother doe and her fawn in the backyard, turtles & bunnies. Duck is close to a lot of activities and great restaurants without being in the commercialized areas of the Outerbanks. We look forward to returning soon."

The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and the outdoor grill was a great touch. The bedrooms were comfortable. The deck was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the beach view."

"We were not sure what to expect when we found only one of two vacation homes left in OBX for the 4th of July week. What an amazing find in Gavaghan. Perfect for a family of four in the quiet Sanderling community. The wrap-around and recently upgraded deck was quite pleasing and the home was quiet and comfortable. The beach was not crowded. My only ask would be for the owners to invest in new deck furniture to help capture the amazing sunrise and sunsets. We will stay here again."
