"Early season is divine! I was recovering from a serious case of bronchitis and the fresh ocean air and the sound of waves crashing plus dolphins playing and pelicans in formation made for a wonderful healing week. Drake and Kari and a friend with their 2 dogs were on the beach all week since it was mostly sunny after thinking it would be wet every day. Rains came at night or early morning but cleared during daylight hours until the day we left. We have been at That's My Desire for 6 years now and we love the house and its waterfront location and comfortable design and we are already looking forward to our visit next year. Just wish we could stay longer!"

"Well appointed home that is perfect for a large family. Great views and close to the beach. We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen and living space are large and perfect for family and the rooms provide ample space for you to have private space and time if you need to chill alone. The kitchen and living room are above the majority of the bedrooms so if you’re a light sleeper and have others who go to bed late you will be able to hear people or dogs walking above. The freezer didn’t shut completely/easily nor beep if it wasn’t fully closed so that was an issue with our ice cream staying frozen."

"This is our 3rd year in this house and we love it. The kitchen is super well-stocked for large meals and families. The gas stove is great. We love the open feel of the living area. The dog bowls and blankets are a nice touch. You can’t beat the 360 degree sunrise and sunset views. There are a few things that need a repair or refresh but overall it’s a great house and we’ll be back next Thanksgiving!"

"We've rented many houses in OBX and this is now our favorite! Its location, cleanliness, meticulously maintained and well stocked with whatever you may need during your vacation. Great view of the ocean from the inside and from the upper deck. Easy access to the beach. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood, perfect for taking our dog on walks thru out the day. Also, house had awesome WIFI, with strong signals at all levels of the house. We wanted to come back for 2 weeks next year, but this house is booked solid to end of 2022. I'm sure this house has many return renters. Also, Twiddy was great to deal with. We had one issue (very minor, keyless pad needed new batteries) that Twiddy took care of within onehour of calling."

"I love this home like it was my own. That's why I've been renting it for three weeks a year for thirty years. The only thing I would add is an elevator or luggage lift, only because I am getting old."

"I left a review at the house but I will reiterate that after having stayed at the same home for four or five years, it is obvious that we love it. The only downside this time was that the owner was not current with the cable company technology and modifications complicated our viewing enjoyment. I had to endure an entire evening with cable and Twiddy people in the home trying to get things right. The owner must provide updated advice on the use of the televisions. By the way, Twiddy is excellent."
