Dutt Inn Dunes is the perfect oceanfront vacation home overlooking Duck's expansive sandy beach. This is where you can enjoy the company of your family and friends, while watching the dolphins play and pelicans soar. This inviting home was lovingly renovated to maximize the beautiful ocean views.
The well-stocked kitchen, located on the top-level, has custom cabinetry and upscale finishes (stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and subway tile). The coastal-inspired décor and oceanfront deck access from the living room, dining room and three of the bedrooms are certain to please the most discerning guests. Two family bedroom suites are tucked away behind pocket doors for privacy. Each suite consists of two bedrooms and a recently renovated full bath. The top-level bedroom suite has two queen bedrooms and the mid-level bedroom suite has one king and one bunk bedroom. The spacious master bedroom boasts sweeping ocean views, a private bathroom, his and her closets, and double sliders leading to an oceanfront deck. The large and comfortably furnished oceanfront porch provides yet another living space to play games, read or simply relax. The outdoor half bath and two showers are conveniently located just steps away from the beach.
This home comes with access to the Sanderling Racquet and Swim Club, which consists of the main pool, children's wading pool, tennis courts, and sound-side dock. Tennis is available for a fee. The Sanderling Resort anchors this unique ocean to sound community where you will find many spa amenities and great restaurants.

"The home was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Its location right on the beach was my favorite part. The beds were very comfortable and the sunroom was a perfect place to read. We enjoyed the books on the shelves—very nice and current selection. The laundry area was conveniently located. Loved the Rubbermaid tubs to dunk feet at the top of the stairs. The outside hose and foot de-sanding station were perfect. Really kept sand OUT of the house. There were plenty of beach chairs and a boogie board that the kids loved. The screen in the second master was not on track when we arrived. We put it back in but it did not roll smoothly. One suggestion would be that some basic supplies be added to a welcome package—a roll of paper towels, a box of tissues, garbage bags for each can, small dishwashing soap, dish scrubber, plastic wrap and/or tin foil. There were 3 rolls of toilet paper left on the counter but we were surprised that there were not clean garage bags left in the kitchen cans. It would also be nice if a hairdryer were provided. I appreciate the “take all food” policy but would not have minded some salt, pepper or other common spices if they had been left behind. If we stayed again, I’d be sure to bring some pantry items. The dining room was great—we ate in 5 of the 7 nights and it was one of our favorite memories. Overall a lovely, comfortable home and beautiful place to spend a week!"

It is obvious that the owners take the time to evaluate what updates are needed from year to year. Duck is our favorite spot on the Outer Banks, and we delight in having beautiful weather, interesting things to do, and a terrific house to enjoy!"

The only drawback to the house is the public beach access next door, not because it is next door, but because it is difficult to walk up and down the dune at the end of the walkway."
