“Dutt Inn Dunes” is the perfect oceanfront vacation home overlooking Duck's expansive sandy beach! Enjoy the company of your family and friends while watching the dolphins play and pelicans soar in synchronized formation. The home was carefully designed to maximize the beautiful ocean views.
The great room on the home’s top level showcases coastal living at its finest. The living area is comfortably furnished and offers gorgeous views of the ocean as well as coastal-inspired decor. A gas fireplace is available for use during cooler months of the year. Just outside on the oceanfront deck, watch the sunrise over the ocean as you sip your morning coffee or simply relax any time of the day and listen to the waves lap the shore nearby. The well-stocked kitchen is as attractive as it is functional and includes custom cabinetry and upscale finishes, such as stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and subway tile. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining area nearby, which offers access to the oceanfront deck.
There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom on the third floor. On the middle floor, you’ll find the spacious master bedroom, which boasts sweeping ocean views, a private bathroom, his and her closets, and double sliding doors leading to the covered oceanfront deck. There are also two additional bedrooms and one full bathroom on the second floor. The large and comfortably furnished oceanfront screened porch provides yet another living space to play games, read, or simply relax.
Outside, easily access the beach using the shared walkway. An outdoor half bathroom and two outdoor showers are conveniently located just steps away from the beach.
This home has access to the Sanderling Racquet and Swim Club, which consists of the main pool, children's wading pool, tennis courts, and a soundside dock. Tennis is available for a fee. The Sanderling Resort anchors this unique ocean-to-sound community with many amenities, including a spa and great restaurants. "Beautiful and well equipped home. One of the cleanest homes inside and out that we've stayed in which was extremely pleasant to walk into to. The bathrooms were all very nice and updated, and the bunk room was nice as well. Our only complaint are the mattresses in the two king rooms....those need to be replaced! Other than that, the home was enjoyable."

"The home was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Its location right on the beach was my favorite part. The beds were very comfortable and the sunroom was a perfect place to read. We enjoyed the books on the shelves—very nice and current selection. The laundry area was conveniently located. Loved the Rubbermaid tubs to dunk feet at the top of the stairs. The outside hose and foot de-sanding station were perfect. Really kept sand OUT of the house. There were plenty of beach chairs and a boogie board that the kids loved. The screen in the second master was not on track when we arrived. We put it back in but it did not roll smoothly. One suggestion would be that some basic supplies be added to a welcome package—a roll of paper towels, a box of tissues, garbage bags for each can, small dishwashing soap, dish scrubber, plastic wrap and/or tin foil. There were 3 rolls of toilet paper left on the counter but we were surprised that there were not clean garage bags left in the kitchen cans. It would also be nice if a hairdryer were provided. I appreciate the “take all food” policy but would not have minded some salt, pepper or other common spices if they had been left behind. If we stayed again, I’d be sure to bring some pantry items. The dining room was great—we ate in 5 of the 7 nights and it was one of our favorite memories. Overall a lovely, comfortable home and beautiful place to spend a week!"

It is obvious that the owners take the time to evaluate what updates are needed from year to year. Duck is our favorite spot on the Outer Banks, and we delight in having beautiful weather, interesting things to do, and a terrific house to enjoy!"
