"The house had furniture and decor a notch above other rentals. It feels like a home- the owners clearly take pride in their property. Great ocean views and you can hear the waves. The quiet cul-de-sac location was even better given the space between neighboring houses. All in all a 10 out 10."

"From beginning to end we enjoyed our stay at Life is Good! This is our second time to stay at this rental! The house is beautiful and well maintained! All the extras we needed were included in his rental! We love the location and the quaint town of Duck! We rented bikes and were able to bike to almost everywhere we wanted to go! And to be pet friendly was icing on the cake! Thank you Twiddy for a fabulous vacation!"

"This was our 4th year in this house. We love the top level with lots of space to be together but not on top of each other. Some can be at the ‘puzzle table’, watching tv, and others chatting around the round coffee table. The round dining table allows everyone to be in the same convo. Rooms are comfortable (except hard mattresses in two basement rooms). Appreciate the new dog/child gate on the top deck!"

"We love the proximity and ocean views but mostly find that the top floor really works for us. We love the round dining table. And the conversation section next to the sofAs are a favorite of everyone. It lets us have several conversational areas but still all be together. Oh, and a puzzle table is a must for us too. Bedrooms are comfortable (except too form of mattresses in twin room). Suggest a dog/kid gate on the upper deck with stairs."

"What’s not to like"

"Our blended family has been renting for over 20 years. We come back to Life is Good because it works well for us. We especially love the top floor where there is lots of room for us to be together but spread out in different zones. Our all together time is at dinner and the round table facilitates us all being engaged and lively conversation. (Ideally the island would be a foot farther out) Bedrooms are spacious and the Rec room very enjoyable. We were able to play pool while the baby slept above. Oh, and the house is sturdy! Gail winds up to 50 mph and there was no sway. We are booked to return next year."

"Life is Good was really good!! We could not have been more happy about the location. The view of the ocean from multiple decks was beautiful and we had toes in the sand in two minutes. The ability to walk to all the stores in Duck was fantastic and having a restaurant at the end of the street was perfect. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week and Twiddy was very quick to respond to the one request we had. The new owners have a gem on their hands and I hope they keep the house in it's fabulous condition. We'll be back!"

"I thought it was a lovely home. the kitchen could use a better variety of pots & pans..otherwise , well stocked. The bed pillows were not comfortable, but i do realize thats a matter if preference... But absolutely Loved the house!!!"

"Great house! Very well kept- kitchen was extremely well-stocked- and the house was homey/comfortable! The walk to the beach was easy! The only drawback was the location in terms of being in between hotel/condo complexes- I think this caused the beach to be more crowded and we missed out on the total 'darkness' at night to stargaze! Other than that- the house was perfect for our group and 4-legged friends too!"

"Lots of space and sitting areas for a large family to spread-out. Family room couches VERY comfortable and loved that there were multiple decks to sit outside. A couple decks are covered, which was nice because we had a lot of rain during our stay. Paved path to beach is nice, but, just know that it’s a NARROW beach. Probably gets pretty crowded when season is in full swing. Really liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Only complaint from our 10 year old was that the bunk bed mattress (especially the top one) was extremely uncomfortable. He ended up sleeping on the couch in the den."
