"The house was great. Fit our family well after years of renting to find the right house. Just a shame we werent given an opportunity to renew the rental as the homeowner has a policy that it can be rented out years in advance which penalizes the current renter if they want the same week the following year. Not cool at all. We have rented for 20+ years with Twiddy so this was a surprise and note a welcome one...."

"We’ve been coming down to OBX for the past fifteen years with our Goldens for family vacation….no better place to go! I fell in love with Summer Lovin’ as soon as we got upstairs and saw the incredible ocean views! Then I looked around and saw the beautiful way it is decorated. While grand, it feels homey…..just perfect! This is my FAVORITE house we’ve ever rented! The master bedroom has a comfortable bed (yeah!) and a private deck which is so nice to keep the pups with you while drinking your morning coffee! The kitchen is VERY well stocked (overstocked!) with anything you could want and EVERYTHING is in excellent shape and usable! My bag of kitchen “stuff” I bring with me as backup was not touched…so nice! The best kitchen inventory I’ve ever had! Thank you! While it was just two of us with two dogs, the theatre room, game room and bar room could be oh so much fun with a group of people! Loved the giant Scrabble and Connect Four games on the wall…so fun! All the detail in the decorations on the wall were fun to look at! Love the light fixture above the large table! Four TV’s on the wall could be a Sunday football watching dream! The pool is a great size and used daily! We had fun playing basketball in the pool! While not used as we know our dogs would go after the ball, there are two ping pong tables! Again, everything is in great shape! Multiple loungers around the pool to lay on and soak up the sun! The beach is right outside the gate and so easy to access! Loved the beach chairs to bring down too..we left ours in the car! The beach was magnificent! While not used, we looked at all the bedrooms in the house. Everyone in beautiful and nicely decorated! Bathrooms too! Loved the two rooms for kids that had multiple bunk beds….I had bunk beds growing up but nothing like that…makes me wish I was young enough again to sleep in them! The weather was sunny every day which was the icing on the cake! We had the “best week ever” and hope to enjoy this incredible house again in the future! Love it!"

"Awesome spot for a big family gathering! Lots of comfortable space and bedrooms with privacy and comfortable beds. The elevator was a must for my Mom and everything worked well. Beach and pool and hot tub were fantastic We had the pool heated and it was perfect! The house looked just like the pictures and was very comfortable. Great stay!"

"We travel to the OBX quite often since our son lives there. We’ve stayed in many homes. We loved this house! The house has something for everyone. I don’t think we left the house other than to grocery shop. There was no need to. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly imagine including all different serving dishes for dips, chips etc.. The adults and kids had a blast in the arcade, playing pool, ping pong and shuffle board. We spent most of our time though on the beach, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub or sitting on one of the many decks enjoying the amazing view listening to the waves . The sunrises are beautiful. I can’t say enough about this beautiful home. We will definitely be back."

"This was our 20th visit out to OBX. We travel from Kansas City MO so it is a effort to come out-but we love it. The house was very well equipped, The only negative was there were ants in the kids lower rooms. We are already booked for this same house for 2023."

"Fabulous home with so much to offer. 1 week was not nearly long enough. Our son enjoyed the fitness room at the community center, we had some trouble with bird mites in the kitchen but exterminator was quick to address the problem. Beautiful rooms and right on the beach, views were spectacular!!"

Watching the sun rise and seeing the dolphins were something that my family will remember. If you are a "foodie", this kitchen is for you You are in walking distance to the shops in duck, as our family are walkers. We will be back, as memories are always made in the Outer Banks!"

"My family has rented several vacation homes, but this by far was the absolute best. In addition to the home being immaculately clean (especially important during these pandemic times), every inch of the house has a purpose and is thoughtfully decorated. To say the kitchen is high end and well-stocked is an understatement. The views, the views, the views--did I mention the views--breathtaking! The only criticism we had and we gave this feedback to the management team is that the grill desperately needs to be replaced. Given how amazingly well this property is managed and maintained--I'm sure they'll take care of that."

"Summer Lovin is spectacular. There’s almost too much to do once you hit the bar area. Even though it’s winter we still got a lot of beach fun with our dog and beautiful walks. Summer has to be an unbelievable time here. We have stayed in many houses in Duck in summer, fall and winter, but this house has to be the best ever!"

"This home is immaculate has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the movie theatre and the popcorn machine. My mom came from Texas as she really enjoyed the elevator. At 80 years old the stairs are hard. It needs a little more instructions for the TV And sound system. We will definitely stay here again."
