"Super cozy beach house with everything we needed. Great location and neighborhood…about an 8 minute walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to the shops/ice cream. The pool and hot tub were essential as the beach had red flags (no swimming) all week. There is a great selection of books and the hammock overlooking the pool is the perfect place to read. Definitely recommend this house!"

"The house was perfect! Location was walking distance to many shopping areas and restaurants. We rode our bikes to Scarborough Faire, the beach, and Duck Deli. The house is well appointed with beach art and plenty of books to read while relaxing by the pool or inside during a cozy, rainy day. Plenty of space for three families and the kitchen is well equipped. Especially liked the path next to house for easy access to the beach and main road."

"This home was awesome. Huge rooms and bathrooms, really clean, and generally nice upkeep. The pool was not heated (solar assist did not work) and was cold. The house is pretty far from the beach but there are trolleys to help. We loved the Four Seasons community this house was in. Walking distance to duck, great amenities, beautiful neighborhood. Overall good experience."
Sorry about the solar heating. Next time contact TWIDDY and they can get the pool company to increase the % on water return. I’ve found that many guest don’t like the pool too warm( opposite of my preference)
"The solar assisted pool keeps the water at a comfortable temperature. We have stayed there several times over the years. It's always clean and well kept and we love the 4 seasons community."
Thank you for your kind comments. I love community and the home. As you can probably tell we like to cook and take advantage of the fresh seafood at the Duck market and Carawan’s seafood in front of the Harris Teeter. We redid the decks this year and purchased more heavy Adirondack chairs as people jump on the lounge chairs and break them.

"Sgt Pepper's Place is amazing! The house has plenty of sleeping space and a great open concept on the top floor for hanging out all together! The house was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook at home including nice pots and pans (the best we've had in a rental)! The home is only a short walk to the beach and in such a lovely neighborhood. We really enjoyed having the private pool/hot tub and were pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs and beach toys to use during our stay. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!!"
"The home is really nice and we loved the layout. The 4 Seasons Community is the cream of the crop for the Duck area. It was only a 9 minute walk to the beach if you missed the trolley. Our only complaint was that the kitchen was not well stocked for cooking and the no gas grill."
We have new pots and pans for the home. I'm sorry you feel that you don't have what you need for your cooking. When we come down, we have all that we need. Personally, I like charcoal grills rather than gas. Just saying!
