"We really enjoyed the pool and the privacy of the backyard. Even though we were close to the neighbors and could hear them, we did not see them because of the trees. There is lots of seating by the pool, which was very nice. The house was lovely and the kitchen well equipped. The Four Seasons community is very well maintained. The beach is on the smaller side -- not as expansive as others we have visited -- but still very nice. And the lifeguards are a plus since not all beaches have guards on duty in the OBX."

"Glad to see the prices are just starting to come down, but it would be nice to see more reasonable prices. Especially at the end of summer, when things tend to be broken or missing (our outdoor shower didn't work, the kitchen was missing a lot of items we've used in the past, etc.). "We don't stay at the same house often, but we've already booked a return visit to Duck Secret. It's probably our favorite house of the 15 we've stayed at in Four Seasons. The house is ideal for a couple of families. The main floor has a large, sunny living room with cathedral ceilings. The large couch is very cozy and you can just sink right into it. The open-space layout connects the living room to a big kitchen and dining room, with a long breakfast bar. It's easy to cook and clean. The bedrooms are quite nice and the bathrooms are spacious. The TVs and sound system were quite good. The property is somewhat far from the beach, but ideal for us because it was close to the main road. Everything in Duck was within easy walking distance, including our favorite restaurants. The pool is one of the larger ones in The Four Seasons. The backyard and entire property is also surrounded by trees, very private and quite scenic. One of the biggest features for me - surprise surprise - was an 8-foot pool table in good condition (I am an avid player). Most houses with tables have smaller 7-foot ones. Bring your own sticks and balls if you are like me. Otherwise the house sticks and balls will do. One thing I would advise to the owner is to replace the cloth every 5-7 years. If it's already that old, you can get 10 years out of it."

"We had been looking for a home where we could walk into Duck and we found it. Love everything about this this home. Downstairs fun with a fantastic pool area and inside pool table for when we are at the home. Love the kitchen and living area, The kitchen is roomy enough for two families to function and the living area with deck is great for kids and adults alike. The loft area with bedrooms is lovely and the decks off the bedrooms are great escapes to read. Love the seclusion that we have when outside at the pool area, While you can hear other families you feel totally private. Looking forward to returning to Duck Secret same week next year!"

"Great location, walking distance to Duck shops and the boardwalk. The house is great and worked well for our family group. We loved the pool and how it felt private from surrounding homes. It was also nice that it was shaded in the mid to late afternoon. The house was very clean and the kitchen was exceptional with tons of counterspace. Some of the furniture will need upgrades or replacements soon but all were functional. Twiddy was great to work with."

"This home is one of the most private properties at Four Seasons. The pool is surrounded with trees but still gets sun much of the day. Kitchen is extremely well-stocked, and the pool is large! We love the layout with the main living space on the middle floor—not the top like many other properties. (The new umbrella table is a great addition to the pool area!)"
Thank you for the feedback. Our plan is to purchase new mattresses for the 2023 season. A/C unit was recently upgraded so we may have to look into a zone control for level 1.
"Beautiful home, sits in a private, quiet setting, with lots of windows for maximum views of nature. Newly updated top notch kitchen. Living/dining great room area with plenty of seating. Spacious well kept deck off of back of house, and shaded porches with seating off of front and side of house. Bedrooms are nicely laid out, clean and comfortable. Pool and seating on pool deck all a bonus and in great condition. We made great use of it. Everything gets an A+ Very clean, up to date and comfortable. Thank you!"

"We enjoyed the inside but not the outside so much. The windows were not cleaned and there were many spider webs and spiders. Pool and deck furniture needs replacement or repair."
Sorry about your outside experience. I arrived at the house after you and noticed the same thing. I thought it was just another bad bug season which has happened, but I did express my concern to our vendor who cleans the exterior weekly and learned that her crew skipped our house and did a different house. Hopefully it won’t happen again, but should you stay again, please contact Twiddy right away and they will send the vendor to the home to make it right. Thank you for your feedback.

"Duck Secret is a lovely home tucked in a secluded, wooded spot in Four Seasons. It has updated amenities and a beautiful outdoor area with a large pool and hot tub. It is located close to Duck Road, making it a short walk to the shops, restaurants and board walk in Duck. It is also close to the Four Seasons Clubhouse with all of its' amenities including exercise rooms, indoor pool and tennis."
