"This was our 5th time staying in a Twiddy home and so far this one was our favorite. It was well equipped, the beds were comfy, the location was great and it has been very well maintained. One thing to note when visiting is that the TVs are not smart TVs so if you are looking to use your own streaming apps, bring a firestick or roku. Also, bring a bluetooth speaker as there is no outdoor sound system or bluetooth speaker in the home for guest use."
As of 2024 all TVs in the house were upgraded to smart TVs. Also, we added a small Bluetooth-compatible radio with speaker in the living room. Thanks for your great review!

We love the community and the home’s easy access to the beach for sunrise, days at the beach and our after dinner sprints to the sound for sunset. "This home is beautiful inside and out and offered our favorite amenities (dog friendly, pool, hot tub). The convenient foot path just behind the property led us directly to the public beach access. "The house was clean, close to the beach and had a great bedroom layout for our needs. The foot path behind the house was very convenient. We did have issues with the pool. The water was cloudy with algae starting on the steps. The pool technicians came out a few times. It was unusable for a while. The pool water was finally clear late Thursday night."
Thanks for your compliments about our home cleanliness, layout and location! Unfortunately, your stay coincided with a few days of inclement weather. It took a few days once the weather improved until the pool water could be brought back to normal. This problem occurred with most OBX pools that week.
