"An incredible fenced in yard with pool & hot tub, easy walk to beach ( loved the back path … always less crowded area of beach), the ice maker in kitchen was awesome, kitchen was well-equipped, home was comfortable and adorably decorated …. A wonderful homey positive vibe ! Our extended family loved staying in Always Happy Hour ! Hoping our available vacation werks next year line up with the homes’ availability ! We hope to be back."

"The proximity of the house to the beach was just right. Easy five minute walk to a beautiful beach, and the back gate opened up right to the path. The kids loved the pool as much as the beach. The house offered enough space for 4 families. And if the living area ever got crowded (meal time), then there was ample deck and yard space. This house was just right for our family reunion!"

"One of the nicest overall homes we've rented over the past twenty years. All the beds we used were very comfortable which is rare! Pool is a little on the smaller side for active swimming but kids still enjoyed it. Easy access from the back yard to the short, shaded walk to the beach was super nice. There were lots of little bonuses that really add up (working bathroom fans, large master shower, refrigerator water filter, fun pool toys, etc.)."
"Beautiful home and we loved the decor. Our first stay in Duck as we usually stay in Corolla. There was ample space for for our large family. Lots of deck space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with the dishes and cookware we needed for our meals. It’s a five minute walk to the beach. You can park right near the beach access if you wish (make sure you get the parking permit for the community). Everyone loved the pool. We didn’t book again because this home will be pet friendly next year and we have pet allergies in our family but would recommend to anyone without that issue. Working with Twiddy was excellent and I love using them for our rentals each year. They respond so quickly with answers to problems or questions that arise. Thank you for a great stay."
"Beautiful home enjoyed comfortably by three families! Access to the beach walk through the backyard gate was great. We all appreciated the community lights out policy (11PM) but would have liked a pool light and ambient lighting around the volleyball court to finish games before lights out. Heads up, the sprinkler system will sometimes spray the sidewalk and bar top at the back of the house. Our group included elementary through high school grade children, plus parents and all were happy!"
