"Great location! The home has all the amenities needed for a beach a vacation. The owner is always helpful and has a beautiful property. We really like the improvements to the walkway, deck and stairs. One suggestion is to possibly add a marker or a colored strip on the last step before each landing as it blends in and we saw a couple people stumble because they missed that step."

"Nice comfortable condo. Steps to Beach. Decent pool. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view from the porch of the ocean. About a 1 mile walk to the shops in Duck. If you have trouble walking up 3 flights of stairs you may want to book elsewhere (no elevator). The only negative is that there is no washer/dryer in the unit. There are coin operated washers/dryers in the building."

Having stayed at numerous other properties in Duck and throuhout the Outer Banks over several years, I can honestly say that this is the best. The condo is clean, well-maintained, comfortable, well equipped (but not cluttered), and the location can't be beat. The views from the deck and throuhgout the condo are amazing. Its just a short drive, bike ride or walk to the shops and restauarants in Duck. Twiddy has also been the best realtor that we have found in the OBX - easy to work with. If you are looking to rent a condo in Duck, look no further than Octopus' Garden!"

"We loved the location/quick access to both beach and pool, and just a quick walk into town. Gorgeous view of the ocean from the deck, living room, and even the kitchen. Our kiddos really enjoyed the books and room to spread out at the kitchen table and do activities when they needed a break from the heat. Kitchen was very well stocked with any tool or utensil you may need. We will definitely come back!"

"Great location. The pool was open. They have a wooden walkway over the dunes. Short walk to beach. Rental was equipped with all the essentials plus lots of books and coloring pencils and books. Tv's with roku in every room. Being on the third floor with no elevator was the only difficulty."

"We love the view from this condo. Whether you are at the kitchen sink, reading a book on the comfy sofa or enjoying the deck... the dunes and ocean are right in front of you. The unit is very well maintained and modern. The kitchen is stocked with great gadgets, pots and pans and even a popcorn maker for rainy days and a movie. The toy closet has kites, soccer balls, umbrella and beach chairs as well as other fun beach games like bocce. It is an easy walk into Duck. The sunrises from the deck or the sunsets from the screened in porch are magnificent. Also, if you are working remotely, the internet is AMAZING."
"I've stayed at this condo for 3 years, and I cannot rave about it enough! The oceanfront views are amazing! The kitchen is completely outfitted with speciality items like a mixer, keurig, blender, nutribullet, etc. Tons of cook and bakeware. They have a plethora of beach items (umbrellas, chairs, toys) for use by the renters. Wifi and smart TVs. It is always clean, and the fact that linens are provided makes packing such a breeze. The owners are hospitable and want to know your feedback and are so welcoming! Definitely recommend and will continue to return!"

You have a good point and we will see about getting the description updated to be more clear about the washer and dryer. A few people at Duck Blind Villas do have them, but it was at the cost of space in other parts of the condo. Nevertheless, it is an amenity that we will seriously consider.
