"Got to bring our dog on the beach with us. And the weather forecast as it often is, was wrong - sunshine every day but one. And that gave us a break for shopping at the grocery store right around the corner. The home was impeccably clean and the kitchen was completely stocked with dishes, wine glasses, appliances and tools needed to cook whatever we wanted - not that we didn't go out several times to nearby TimBuck II's great restaurants. After seeing the home will get a refurbished beach walkway, we booked again next year to invite family."

"The view, foliage makes it very private. Great basement entrance which is good for bicycles. It is a very low populated beach."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at X-to-Sea. The house has many amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of gathering space on the top level. There is easy access to the beach and great views of the ocean from the deck. We loved the pool (and jacuzzi) and used it particularly on the windy (red flag) days during our stay. We made good use of the gas grill -- very convenient. We plan to return!"

"We adored our week in X-to-Sea. This oceanside home, which has it's one private beach access, was perfect for getting quickly to the beach and heading home when we wanted a quick dip in the private pool. Our family loved sitting on the spacious deck at night and watching the stars. The view were amazing. Hope to stay here again down the road."

"The house was beautiful. Even after the storm and the stairs being buried we had a great time. The rooms were huge compared to other places in OBX we’ve stayed, the pool was perfect for rough wave days on the ocean. The beach is nothing short from spectacular and we found so many shells. Can’t wait to be back!"

"Fantastic views, and we loved having our own private access point to the beach so we didn't have to lug our gear as far going back and forth. The house was clean and kitchen was well-stocked. The only negative thing is the weak security of the WiFi as well as the weak signal throughout the house. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would definitely book this house again."

"We did a family vacation 2 years in a row at X-To-Sea. We love the house and location. Love that it’s pet friendly. Nice view from the deck - we spent a lot of time up there! The pool is a lifesaver for days when ocean swimming isn’t an option and the hot tub is very nice as well. The house is well stocked for a big group. When we arrived this year- there was an awful smell in one of the downstairs bedrooms which we realized was one of the small area rugs. Once we got rid of that- it was fine. The kitchen could use some upgrading in utensils (no sharp knives) and cookware (fry pans not in good condition). Would definitely recommend staying here."
"Searching online, the pet friendly, beach front property with no additional pet fees sold me immediately! The relaxed vibe and amazingly equipped kitchen where there was everything needed to cook all of our meals made for a wonderful vacation. Twiddy’s COVID-19 policy and a super clean home made us feel comfortable and safe."
