Ratings & Reviews
Overall this was a terrific vacation home that my family enjoyed very much. Excellent location only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Private lot with plenty of amenities. The house has absolutely everything one will need to enjoy themselves. Living area and kitchen are on the top floor so if stairs aren't an issue for you, this is a great home for a great value!

We were looking for a smaller home, as it was just two couples staying, and this house worked well for us. The wooded lot was shaded, quite and very pleasant.

Whale watcher was a beautiful home in a great location within Whalehead. The short walk to the beach was great. The privacy and the wooded lot was amazing to find in the outer banks. The grill was brand new and the gas was full. Had a ton of CDs and DVDs although one of the speakers was blown. The hot tub was cleaned the morning of arrival and was perfect all week. The master bathroom on the second floor has a good size jacuzzi tub. 2nd floor deck has a nice local hammock. You can also see the ocean from the 3rd floor which was nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Diana, that is a great question. Our linen rental fee is $40.00 plus tax per bedroom. We charge an additional $3.00 per bed if you wish for our staff members to make the beds prior to your arrival. The total cost for linen rental for J51095T for 4 bedrooms would be $180.40.

How long does it take to either walk to the beach or drive?
Stephanie, it would take approximately 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach from this home. There is a community parking lot about halfway between this home and the beach access. Please view our "Where's the Beach?" map to see an aerial shot of the community.
