Updates for 2025 include remodeling the kitchen with all new appliances, Quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, farmhouse sink, new flooring, new cabinets with molding, and new recessed ceiling lighting. Recent updates include new luxury vinyl plank flooring in the Great Room, new ceiling fans, new mattresses throughout the home, a completely rebuilt Weber Gas Grill, a new walkway to the pool, new pool chaise lounges and pool umbrellas, freshly painted pool deck, new picnic table by the pool for drinks, snacks or meals, refinished decks, fresh exterior paint and porch swings were installed on the lower deck to enjoy the ocean breeze!
Your ideal Outer Banks vacation awaits at “Pirate's Moon” in Corolla! This five-bedroom coastal retreat is just one house back from the beach in the Whalehead community. Centrally located in Corolla, shopping, restaurants, dining, and attractions, including The Currituck Beach Lighthouse, are a short drive from the home. Your entire family will enjoy all that is offered at this comfortable beach house.
Fun in the sun will be on your vacation agenda, both at the home and at the soft-sand beach nearby. The community beach walkway is located two lots to the left of the house for convenient trips to and from the home for cooler refills or mid-day breaks from the sun. At the home, take a refreshing dip in the private pool or simply lay in the sunshine poolside. The hot tub is steps away when you’re ready for a relaxing soak. Expansive decks are located on the second and third levels of the home and offer various seating options, including porch swings, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables. The screened porch on the second level has a picnic table, making it a great place to enjoy lunch outdoors. Out front, cook dinner on the Weber gas grill while the ballers in your group play basketball in the large driveway nearby.
The great room on the top level is the home’s main gathering place. Open the four large sliding doors to allow the salty ocean breeze to fill the room. In the comfortably furnished living area, enjoy the stunning ocean views as you relax and enjoy the refreshing aroma of the ocean. The ceiling fan in the cathedral ceiling allows the ocean breeze to circulate throughout the space. In the early mornings, make a cup of coffee and step outside onto the expansive deck to watch the sunrise over the ocean. The third-level deck is also an ideal place to have breakfast at the picnic table or delight in afternoon happy hours. Back inside, the custom-designed modern kitchen is a dream, featuring quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, a farmhouse sink, upgraded flooring, sleek cabinets, and recessed lighting. The nearby dining area allows your family to gather for delicious meals throughout your stay, from seafood boils to pizza and everything in between.
There is one bedroom on the third floor, which includes a semi-private bathroom that also opens to the great room. The home’s master bedroom is available on the second level and includes a private bathroom. Three additional bedrooms, two with deck access, and a full bathroom are also available on the second floor. Open the bedrooms’ sliding doors in the evenings to drift to sleep to the sound of the waves lapping the shore nearby. Laundry facilities are available on the second floor as well.
