"It had a well-equipped kitchen, and all of the cupboards were labeled. The elevator was very useful as we had a couple of older family members who had difficulty with lots of stairs. It was an easy walk to the beach The shallow Baby-pool was great for our 2 year-old."
"The house was beautiful and extremely well organized (especially the kitchen). It had the amenities we were looking for (elevator, pool and home theater which my grandsons loved). We were lucky and had perfect weather! The host family provided us with additional beach chairs which in addition to the ones we rented allowed everyone to be comfortable on the beach. As with any vacation a small glitch occurred. The AC for the second floor struggled and this was during a very warm week. I notified Twiddy and by that evening (6:30 PM) room AC units were installed in the effected bedrooms. I believe this not only reflects on Twiddy's efficiency but also the host family's commitment to provide a comfortable setting for our vacation."
"We LOVED the private pool, the ice machine was fantastic, the speaker with surround sound outside by the pool made the vacation so special. All the bedrooms had a bathroom which was a very nice touch in making things fair for each family in our party. Allowing our furry friend to join our group was a nice touch."

We were delighted to see a few upgrades from our last visit as well, showing that they homeowners take pride in the home as well and it is more than just a money maker for them. "How You Dune was the perfect spot for our family reunion. We loved the close proximity to the beach, the built in pool, and the theater room. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, making meal prep super easy! We loved sitting on the front deck at night listening to the ocean and lounging by the pool after the beach. The kids loved the shallow pool and many games of pool were played! The rooms were spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms to accommodate us. For many of us, this was our first trip to obx and we are already talking about returning!"
"The house was the perfect size and layout for our group. The elevator made it easy to send luggage to the top floor (and also help as relatives grew tired by the end of the week!) We loved that there was grass for our 2 dogs and a spacious driveway. The proximity to the beach was also perfect for us"
"The movie theater and pool table were a big hit for everyone. We liked the large kitchen and even had a cook-off with three cooks . Plenty of room . The oven /stove could be updated as well as some of the pans we had to work with ."

"Beautiful home. We loved the number of bedrooms and how everyone had their own bathroom. The outside pool and volleyball area were wonderful. Wish the pool had a heater because it was pretty cold but we made the best of it. The home was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen."

"This house was perfect. It offered plenty of space, activities and the location to the beach was wonderful. We spent lots of time at the pool/cabana, played sand volleyball, used the hot tub and watched several movies in the theater room. This is one of the best houses we have stayed in!"

"The renovations that were made to the house were amazing! The theatre room was awesome and with the rainy week we had, unfortunately, we used the Theatre room a lot. The cabana in the pool area was nice that we did get to use for a few days. Overall, it is a beautiful home and was perfect for our family! One thing that I would suggest, if I had to say anything would be, if the pool was heated. We go early in the year and this year it was pretty chilly for most of us to go in the water. But besides that, it is an awesome house!"
"Great stay! Spacious house, worked very well for our large group. We loved the elevator, volleyball court, and the ability to take pets. Wonderful location. Small things were a little disappointing. Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom was broken, mattresses could use replacing, very few trash cans or bathmats. We found the Twiddy staff to be very friendly and helpful."
"The new owner sent us a cake while staying there. Thought that was a nice gesture. They are doing some renovations on the home and so far it looks great. The only suggestion I have is while renovating look into some new beds. A couple of them were a little rough to sleep on. I would stay here again."
