"Our three-generation family of 22 could not have chosen a better property for our first OBX stay! All the bedrooms were spacious and bright, all the bathrooms were beautifully updated, and all the living areas provided lots of space for gathering and enjoying time together. The main living room was even larger than it appeared in the photos and we loved the amazing views out the windows. The theater room was perfect for the kids and the pool was filled with happy swimmers daily. There was an extreme heat alert during our stay but the AC did a truly impressive job of keeping up and we were always comfortable. Twiddy was very responsive before and during our stay, which was really helpful. Thanks for a fabulous stay. We are so glad we chose OBX and this beautiful home. We all agree that we wouldn't have changed a thing!"
"Great main level for eating, plenty of space, well stocked, all updated bathrooms and great back yard games! Only issue was hot tub did not work properly. beach access was very close, which really helped during a rainy week."

"We loved the Dawn Treader! It was by far the best stocked house we’ve stayed in. Things like family games and musical instruments were a nice, surprising addition to the homes inventory. Truthfully, the house is much better in person than pictures too. We were concerned about the size of the pool, but it fit our group of 15 just fine. The location is great, with lots of shopping nearby and beach access right across the street. Every house has a few issues here and there, but overall we were very impressed with this one!"

I am going through the reviews now and prioritizing a list of improvements to complete before guests arrive again in May. We will have a new stove, 5 bathroom remodels and some new pool furniture to mention a few things. Hope you will be back in 2023!

"We have stayed at this house 8 times. It feels like home and we take great pride in leaving the house like we found it. Hoping to rent this house for years to come. Always clean and beautiful. The ocean is steps away and soothes the soul. The rental company was wonderful in making sure the few issues we had were resolved quickly and everyone from customer service to the technicians dispatched were friendly and handled anything that arose."

"Overall it's a great house, but a little rundown. Lots of amenities but in need of an freshening up. Carpet is stained and threadbare in spots. Appliances in kitchen are very old. Sliding doors barely work. Definitely in need of a remodel. Loved the theater."

"Nice house that checks a lot of boxes but does need some TLC. The appliances and electronics need updated. Additionally, the outside cabana bar area could use a deep clean and fresh look. Overall though...comfortable house that was close to the beach."

"The location was perfect! The space, set up and amenities were amazing. We loved the 3 levels that allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was so spacious with multiple families and 19 people. There was more than enough beds, and room to move around and not be on top of everyone. The week we stayed it rained several days so we took advantage of the theater room a lot. I also found the doors to the balcony in each room to be a big deal we were able to access our rooms from out side with out tracking water from the pool through the house. It also allowed us to come and go with out having to go through the house. Then entertainment area with the extra fridge and dishwasher worked out great for cooking out and hanging at the pool and having drinks! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you"
