"The house has a great layout, the bedrooms were all enormous, and overall there was more space than we knew what to do with. The pool was big and the hot tub was even bigger and probably could’ve fit a basketball team! The kitchen was well stocked and the two ice machines were a huge hit."

"Loved everything about the home. We all enjoy cooking and had six home cooked meals, including make your own pizza night. They organized a lesson and instructions for personalized pizzas, with every topping you could think of. The spacious kitchen and huge island made for a perfect setting to work on the many successful Creations. Of course the double ovens and well equipped kitchen made for many memorable cooking experiences. The house layout made it very convenient because everything was accessible with just a couple steps. No matter where you were in the house, everything you needed was at your fingertips. And to top it off, the whole feel of the house was a very luxurious. It certainly was a treat for all of us. We have been coming down to the Outer Banks since the 1970s and certainly appreciated accessibility to both Duck and Corolla and when needed to Nags Head, the waterpark and the golf courses. The Family golfers thought for sure they heard other family members going down the slides at H2OBX. All we needed for the children and adults was right there…. The arcade and pool table. Great arcade game! All the furniture in the house was laid out perfect for us, and very comfortable. Outstanding views of both the sound and the ocean….. we couldn’t ask for anything better. This is the first time we got a beachfront and now we understand why you do not really have to venture out, but we did take advantage of some of the water sports, etc. one of the things we like the best was having a private entrance where the children could go up and down and we did not have to worry. It was monumental to have a cabana service…. Many made the sunrise every morning and then the sunset every evening. It was fabulous and so peaceful. It was pretty cool that there was sun on the pool in the morning and shade in the backyard in the afternoon. And that hot tub….WOW! What an amazing, relaxing, and fun experience! Like the placement of it. The design and comfort of your pool deck chairs were much appreciated. And that, stepping pool and ledge that you can sit on, really was quite an enjoyable plus! And then there’s the travertine, another wow! Thank you!!!! And at night, those pool, lights were mesmerizing and I especially liked viewing it from the deck as I can see everyone else enjoyed it too. Just so many pluses that we weren’t used to made it amazing for us and memorable forever. And I can’t go without saying the double washer definitely served as well. Special that you had a sink in there too. Especially loved the two tables because sometimes you just need somewhere where people can work on their computer or the kids only can eat. The multiple uses of the second table was very welcomed, especially for our game, players and puzzle people. I can’t even imagine the opportunity and joy you must have to go there when there are no renters. Thank you for making everything so stress-free. And many thanks to Twiddy because no where have I ever consistently dealt with people so nice and professional on the phone!!!! of course I’ve been to the Corolla Office also and love it."

"The house was great! A perfect vacation home for our large family. Twiddy was very responsive to any of the minor issues we had. The only suggestion I would have for the homeowner would be to add some type of cabinet for pantry space."

"We stayed at Anchor Strand the house was perfect for our entire family! The new remodeled kitchen was amazing fully equipped with anything you could think of needing. The location on the beach was very nice being that we have lots of little ones. Easy access. We also loved the fact the house had a kiddie pool. Very nice layout. Would highly recommend this house looking forward to booking again!"

"The house had everything you could possibly need. The only drawback is there is a little too much, there is no room for food storage so we ended up consolidating pots and pans. Just a minor issue easy to overcome."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ankor Strand. The walk to the beach is short and the beach stairs are well maintained. The beach was so quiet that we had most of the space to ourselves. The bike path was a lot of fun for the kids to go on each day. The bedroom setup was perfect for our families. The hot tub is huge! The kitchen is tight though being that the refrigerator seems to be the wrong size for the cabinetry making it too close to the stovetop. The stovetop did not work well either. The pool filter did not seem to work adequately. We tried to skim the pool as much as we could but the bugs in the pool were nonstop."

"An absolutely incredible house with high end furnishings, and a well thought out, well stocked kitchen. Great views of the ocean and the sound. Whoever set up the house must have lived through other rentals and learned what is important."
