At the heart of the home, in the great room on the top floor, expansive ocean views set the stage for a seamless blend of comfort and elegance. A double-sided fireplace connects the soaring great room to an elegant screened porch. The well-appointed kitchen—featuring two refrigerators, two ovens, and a six-burner gas stovetop—ensures effortless entertaining. The home’s elevator is a huge help when unloading luggage, and it conveniently opens to the kitchen, perfect for getting groceries up to the top floor. The spacious oceanfront dining area and an elevated soundside booth create a welcoming setting for shared meals. The library on the third floor is ideal for remote work or relaxing with a good book. Play a hand of cards or assemble a puzzle throughout your stay in the lounge on the second floor, which features a wet bar so cold drinks can be readily available.
Level one is designed for recreation and entertainment. A sunken billiard room invites friendly competition with pool and shuffleboard tables, as well as a gas fireplace for use during cooler times of the year. Steps from the pool area, the spacious multi-use court offers the opportunity to play basketball, pickleball, badminton, volleyball, or shuffleboard, all while listening to the waves lapping the shore just over the dune. Like mini-golf? Head to the six-hole rooftop course, where stunning Currituck Sound views elevate the experience. If you prefer to play on a golf course, reduced green fees for your entire group are available at Kilmarlic Golf Club, a highly rated course on GolfAdvisor. Additional sports options are available for a modest fee across the street at Pine Island Racquet and Fitness Center.
If you just want to get a workout, pop into the level one mini-gym featuring an upper and lower body workout station with a weight stack, pulley system, leg extension, and leg curl apparatuses. "The house is AMAZING!! We had a group of 18 family and friends. Plenty of room and something for everyone. Take room was so fun, we used it everyday. The theatre room was used every night. We cooked 3 meals a day in the large well appointed kitchen. Views of sunrise and sunset are spectacular. Cabana service was a huge plus. The only thing that could have been better was the ac 70 degree pre set. The 3rd floor was warm. "Here Comes the Sun was a fantastic, well furnished and decorated home for our family vacation (21 members) to celebrate Christmas and the New Year! The kitchen was incredibly stocked and had every utensil imaginable, and the kids all loved the variety of games on the first floor. We played some intense volleyball games almost every day and loved all of the outdoor spaces. The views from all of the decks were spectacular, and having a home with ocean AND sound views made sunrises and sunsets a special occurrence each day. "The Here Comes the Sun house was fantastic! The furniture was comfortable, and light airy the way you want a beach house to feel. The house had so many different items for entertainment which worked really well for all the kids, and the sport court was a fantastic amenity for the dads. It was also great having balconies off of most of the bedrooms, and ample top level decks for watching the ocean or the sunset on the other side."
