For old-fashioned fun, take a spin in the Here Comes the Sun surrey with kids, grandkids, or friends - yes, with a “fringe on top,” just like the classic song says!
After all that activity, catch some rays on the beach just steps away, or take a dip in the private pool or poolside hot tub. Little visitors may prefer the kiddie pool zone or the custom playhouse in the level one recreation area, adjacent to a large media room perfect for sports, movies, and video games.
Looking for table games, puzzles, cards, or a private escape? Take the elevator or stairs to level three, the heart of the house. The spacious Ocean Room offers sweeping seascape views, with occasional dolphin or whale sightings. From the large oceanfront deck, watch seagulls and pelicans dive for dinner in the waves below. For shaded relaxation, sink into comfy sofas in the adjacent screened lounge. Book lovers can explore best-selling or classic novels, history, culture, politics, art, self-help, faith-focused, and children’s books in the library. Grab a dictionary for Scrabble - or try Quiddler, a fast-paced word game with cards.
When it’s time to rest, ten master bedrooms await. Seven have King beds, one has a Queen, one has two Queens, and a bunk room sleeps six with a bathtub-shower. Eight bedrooms open to covered decks with sweeping views of the ocean or sound, while two sets of bedrooms connect via short hallways, offering flexible options as private rooms or family suites. A large level three bathroom includes both a deep soaking tub and a barrier-free shower. All bedrooms feature private baths, and all but the bunk room have televisions.
Coffee lovers will enjoy rolling out of bed to the coffee brewer and mini-fridge at the level two coffee bar. Sip your morning cup from a private or shared deck, or watch the sun rise over the mighty Atlantic from the dune deck. Just steps below, waves lap at your toes as you relax in umbrella-shaded beach chairs set up daily from late spring through early fall. Or enjoy the gentle sway of the double swing on the level two oceanfront deck - you may never want to leave it!
For a little energizing or toning, hop on the Exercycle Smart Bike in the level one mini-gym. Tone your upper and lower body with the workout station or rack of dumbbells.
Culinary enthusiasts will find a well-equipped kitchen featuring two refrigerators, two ovens, and a six-burner gas stovetop. Grab a seat at the wide 16-seat dining table overlooking the Atlantic, the 6-8 seat booth, or a bar-stool countertop. The adjacent deck offers an additional dining area, or enjoy casual meals in the attached screened lounge. A mini-kitchen on level one supports rec-zone refreshments, screened poolside dining, and two outdoor grills.
