Delight in stunning sunrises over the Atlantic or picturesque sunsets over the Currituck Sound, as “Here Comes the Sun” offers an array of extraordinary indoor and outdoor vantage points.
At the heart of the home, wrap-around water scenes give way to an enchanted dining experience in the spacious dining room or at the nearby elevated booth and kitchen bar. A double-sided fireplace links the soaring Ocean Room to a screened open-air lounge. The expansive kitchen is well-appointed and has two refrigerators, two ovens, and a six-burner gas stovetop.
All ten bedrooms are masters, considerably sized, and provide a sanctuary of rest and solitude. Eight bedrooms open to covered decks overlooking the ocean or sound, while two sets of bedrooms are connected by short hallways for use as private rooms or family suites.
An elevator provides a convenient way to bring in groceries or luggage, with easy access to all levels of the house. Level one attractions include a sunken billiard room with pool and shuffleboard tables, a recreation room with air hockey and arcade game and a playhouse for young children. Additionally, a theatre room offers a perfect place to unwind and watch movies, sports events or favorite shows.
Step outside the rec room for a round of ping pong on the terrace. Take a few more steps to the pool complex and relax in the hot tub, cool off in the large private pool, or enjoy a game of volleyball, badminton, basketball, pickleball or shuffleboard on the adjacent sports court.
At the end of the day, unwind to the echo of surf colliding against the shore and look forward to another day dawning by the sea at "Here Comes the Sun."
Arriving guests are welcomed by an ambassador who will familiarize guests with the home and to exclusive features such as upgraded linens and more. Guests of this home receive daily beach chair and umbrella set up from April 29 to September 28, reduced greens fees at the Kilmarlic Golf Club, and, for a modest fee, can enjoy the Pine Island Racquet and Fitness Center just a short walk away.

The only thing that could have been better was the ac 70 degree pre set. The 3rd floor was warm. Our whole immediate family (21 of us plus a guest) had a ”dream” vacation for a week…beautiful beachy decor, perfect location, wonderful amenities, great views, good separation and privacy with bedrooms, easy beach access, lots of parking, elevator, good and immediate response from Twiddy for any questions or problems, games and books available for all ages, great sound system throughout house for all floors and pool area, wonderful updated kitchen with lots of ice, multiple refrigerators, dishwashers, washer/dryers, coffee pots,comfortable beds, good air-conditioning, good safety features around pool and decks…something and space for everyone with everything in good working order… also, layout of house seemed to mitigate noise level…we all rated it a 10 out of 10!!!"
