Welcome to the Outer Banks, it’s time to get into a “Southern State of Mind!” This beautiful oceanside home is located in a quiet section of the Ocean Sands community in Corolla, just a few homes away from the community beach walkway. The home features coastal decor throughout and has plenty of space and amenities for the entire family to enjoy. An elevator goes to all three floors, which is a big help with unloading luggage and groceries.
The great room on the top level of the home is spacious and is sure to be where the entire family gathers to plan each day’s activities. The living area features comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing and watching a show with loved ones. The fully-equipped kitchen was designed to store and prepare food for a crowd, with two refrigerators, two ovens, and plenty of counter space. Clean up is a breeze with two dishwashers. Countertop seating allows for quick breakfasts on the go before heading outside for a fun day in the sun. The nearby dining area features a large dining table, perfect for conversing while enjoying fresh OBX seafood. There is an additional dining table and chairs outside on the screened porch. Relax in the comfortable seating on the top level decks while enjoying the sunshine. Head up to the rooftop deck to be treated to stunning scenes of the Outer Banks. Expansive views of the sand dunes lead to shimmering ocean views, making the rooftop deck a prime location for enjoying an OBX sunrise with your favorite cup of coffee. There is one King master suite on the top level, which features a private full bathroom with a sunken tub and spacious walk-in shower. The master suite also features deck access and an attached sitting room. A half bathroom is included on the top level of the home for convenience.
The middle level of the home has 6 master suites, each with a private full bathroom. The majority of the second level master bedrooms also include deck access. There is a common area on the middle level, perfect for watching TV or working on a puzzle. A desk is also included for those who need to work while on vacation. Deck access is available from this common space.
On the ground floor, there are three additional master suites, each with a private bathroom. The remainder of the lower level was made for fun and entertainment. Have an epic family movie night in the theater room, with comfortable seating that allows you to stretch out and relax. The spacious game room has several options for friendly competition, including a pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard, and tabletop arcade game. There is a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and microwave so snacks and drinks are always nearby. Outdoor play options are plentiful as well. Splash around in the private pool or relax and soak in the sunshine while enjoying the beautiful landscaping. Take a break from the sun to grill some lunch and mix some drinks at the tiki bar. Get the entire family involved in the ultimate vacation volleyball match on the grass court just outside of the pool area. After the sun sets for the evening, soak your sore muscles in the hot tub to get yourself ready for tomorrow’s fun. After an Outer Banks vacation at this amazing home, the entire family will be in a “Southern State of Mind!”

"Southern State of Mind was the BEST HOME EVER that we have stayed in! From the first steps into this lovely home we knew we had found a gem! It was fresh smelling and was even more beautiful than the pictures online! Our favorite spot was the ENTIRE house! Every square inch has been thoughtfully planned to make your stay the most comfortable! Our family consisted of 9 adults & 9 children. (4families) We loved that each floor of the home had a living room to get away and enjoy. The spacious bedrooms are well positioned for multiple families to enjoy privacy. And having 8 King bedrooms and 2 Queen bedrooms is another well thought out plan for guests. There is one bathroom per each floor that has a bathtub. Perfect for families with little kids. We loved the game room! Ping pong, pool table, shuffleboard, Foosball, arcade game table, incredible! Then the theater room too! WOW! So much to do inside! And The Kitchen!!! Oh my word! It was our pleasure to cook every night in this magnificent kitchen! Double everything! Every cabinet was fully stocked with dinnerware, glassware, serving dishes, kids cups, ect. There's a Kitchen Aid mixer too!!! How amazing! We loved making homemade whipped cream one night! The huge island and the long family table was perfect for seating everyone, with room to spare. We even used the enclosed screened patio for meals. It was perfect! The furniture is very well designed & not cluttered. Exactly what we needed. The outdoor area is breath taking! The owners have spent much time & money in ismaking the outdoor experience top notch! We loved the artificial lawn backing up against the natural.wildlife preserve area. It was perfect for our game time when we were not in the pool! The outdoor kitchen area made grilling a breeze. The hot tub was a favorite too. On several.mornings we saw deer behind the black railed fence. The location of the home is so close to the board walk to the beach too. We loved the quiet street with no thru traffic. It made walking with small children so easy. We definitely will choose Southern State of Mind again! The home, amenities, location, cleanliness, & beautiful outdoors made this our favorite beach house ever! Thank you to Twiddy & the owners for our BEST rvacation yet!"
