Inside, the great room is the heart of the home, where your group will gather throughout your stay. The spacious living area is furnished with comfortable seating, perfect for lounging around after a day at the beach. On the opposite side of the great room, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, from quick breakfasts to full family feasts. Meals can be savored together in the nearby dining area. Outside on the spacious deck, enjoy the salty breeze and horizon views of the ocean, or walk up to the crow’s nest for panoramic ocean views, perfect for watching the waves roll in. The crow’s nest is ideal for sipping your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean. When you’re ready to hit the beach, use the shared beach walkway for convenient access to the soft sands of Corolla.
Back inside, there is one ensuite bedroom, which includes its own private bathroom. There are three additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
Located in a quiet neighborhood, you’re still just a short drive from the historic Currituck Beach Lighthouse, mini-golf, local shops, and restaurants. Whether you’re looking for an adventure or simply relaxing, there’s something for everyone nearby.
This rebuilt beach house stands on the site of the first home constructed in Ocean Sands in Corolla, built by the father of the homeowner. The original house had no running water, and its occupants made their way to the sound to bathe, embracing a simpler way of life. When the home was rebuilt, that original spirit was intentionally preserved. The homeowners chose to forgo added amenities, honoring the simplicity that has long defined their family’s Outer Banks vacations.
