An Outer Banks vacation “Shore Beats Work” at this bright and spacious beach home! Located less than 500 feet from the beach, the community beach access is just a short walk away. The home was designed and built with the present-day traveler in mind. With six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms, the home boasts 9-foot ceilings throughout, providing an incredibly open feel. Other bonus features include upgraded wifi, an elevator, flat screen TVs with streaming service in every bedroom and in the main living spaces, and three levels of decks. In addition, there is a desk setup for convenient remote working, including a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and wireless printer.
On the third floor, you’ll find the open and airy great room, which features laid-back coastal decor throughout. Relax in the spacious living area and watch TV or listen to music on the Sonos speaker system. A fireplace is available for use during chilly months. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare meals for your entire stay. Meals can be enjoyed together in the nearby dining area. There is also a table and chairs available outside on the sun deck, perfect for enjoying breakfast or morning coffee al fresco. When you need to find a quiet place to relax, head to the reading nook with your favorite book. One master bedroom, which includes an en suite bathroom, can be found on the top floor of the home. A half bathroom is also included on the main living level.
The middle level of the home consists of four master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. There is one additional master bedroom with an en suite bathroom on the ground floor. Enjoy family movie night in the media room, which includes a large flat screen TV and surround sound system. Have hours of fun at the pool table in the rec room. There is a wet bar with a full size refrigerator in the rec room, so snacks and drinks can be readily available. Laundry facilities are located on the ground floor. A full cabana bathroom is also available, which opens to the pool area as well as the lower level of the home.
Make a splash in the private saltwater pool, or have a restorative soak in the hot tub. Stream your favorite playlist by the pool on the Sonos system. Whether you are soaking up rays in the comfort of your private pool or tussling in the surf at the beach nearby, this beach house offers the perfect home base. Ocean Lake community amenities are located less than a half mile from the home and include a large community pool, kiddie pool, six tennis courts, and a seven-acre freshwater lake that is stocked with fish. The best attractions in Corolla are located less than two miles away, including Timbuck II and Monterey Plaza, where you can find restaurants, local shops, mini golf, go carts, bike and surfboard rentals, a bait & tackle shop, and more.
