Welcome to “Skipjack”, where the sea meets serenity! Nestled in the Ocean Hill community of Corolla, this coastal home boasts endless ocean views from multiple levels. Beach days are never-ending with the convenient beach access directly across. History buffs and nature enthusiasts will love this home, as it is just a quick bike ride or drive from Historic Corolla.
The top level features an open and spacious great room that overlooks the ocean views. With comfortable furnishings and a fireplace for the cooler months, the great room is perfect for entertaining the family. Adjacent, the large kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals during your stay. The dining area features a large table and barstool island, creating the perfect ambiance for mealtimes or family game nights. The sundeck is perfect for all hours. From sunrises and morning coffees to happy hour and stargazing. The top level features one master bedroom, with a private bathroom and deck access. There is also one half-bathroom
The middle level is a mix of sleeping quarters and entertainment. Drift off to vacation serenity with two master bedrooms, each with private bathrooms and deck access. There are additional bedrooms, as well as two full bathrooms. Whether you are watching an action-packed adventure or an animated favorite, the den is the perfect place to gather for a movie. A wet bar is close by for grabbing a refreshing drink.
The ground level includes one bedroom and a full bathroom. Outside, the refreshing private pool is waiting for you to make a splash. The spacious pool deck is perfect for lounging around in the sunshine. After the sun sets for the evening, head over to the hot tub for a relaxing soak to end your day. A vacation at “Skipjack” will leave your family with treasured OBX memories!

"Wonderful location close to 4x4 beach and short walk to the ocean for morning and evening walks. We love the house. Beds are very comfortable. The pool and hot tub are nice extras. The hot water was not working in the out door shower and one of the jets was not working in the hot tub. Flies remained a problem. This was our 4th year vacationing in this home. We appreciate the new appliances this year. It has all the conveniences we are looking for in a beach house."

"This is second year in this home. We love the location. So close to the 4x4 beach where we spend most of our time. Yet so close to the beach for morning and evening walks. The home has plenty of room to spread out. We love the 3rd level deck with ocean views for our morning coffee. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is the home could use a deep cleaning and some upgrades. Planning to return next year. In our 30 years of vacationing on OBX, we have never returned to the same house until now."

Just a few little things that would be an improvement: trimming outdoor brush/ bushes, especially by the pool; and updating electrical outlets in master bathroom- I couldn’t use my hairdryer in there."

The furniture and decor throughout the house looked perfect and were in excellent condition. House is right next to the beach walkway and location couldn't be better.
