"This was my second stay at Shell Seekers. The home is comfortable and well equipped and we absolutely love the wood flooring! It was a big plus that we could bring our dogs. Thank you! The home is a short distance to the beach and there are no steps to descend at the access, which is great for anyone with bad hips, or knees like me. "We loved the shady, treehouse feel of Shell Seekers! We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the house. It had everything we needed. Sunroom was lovely place to take phone calls and watch a cloudy day movie with the kids. Beach cart, outdoor shower, hose, and blender were used often! Would recommend to single families. We easily fit 3 adults and 4 kids into Shell Seekers."

"House was nice. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and there were nice large TVs in every room. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach chairs were nice and not rusted. I would recommend assigning the upstairs queen bedroom to a tall person because I’m 5’4”and I could hardly reach the shower nozzle to adjust it and the step into the tub was very high. I would also recommend wiping out the chest of drawers before placing clothes into the drawers because in the upstairs queen room they were very sandy."

"We stayed in Shell Seekers for a much needed girl trip. It was the most perfect week ever. Close enough to the sound to watch the sunsets, and close enough to the 4x4 beach to take rides....we even caught some of the wild horses. For the first time in all of my years of vacationing in OBX, I pre-reserved the same house for another trip next year."

"Shell Seekers was the perfect home for our family. It is very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well-outfitted. We found the beds to be very comfortable and loved having two separate living room areas with a door to close when the kids wanted to play loud video games or watch a movie on their own. Its quiet location was ideal and we walked over to the Sound each evening to watch the sunset. Thoughtful touches like a few Christmas decorations and an abundance of good books were much appreciated."

"Very spacious and comfortable. Two living rooms, both with huge TV's, plus a collection of about 100 movies on DVD. Very clean, though we had a small problem with ants that cleared up in a day. Twiddy was very responsive on two service calls. Excellent neighborhood; quiet; beach not at all crowded."
