"Nice layout and location. Views of lighthouse AND ocean were spectacular. Ships watch was incredible !!! In fact, my youngest son commandeered it to be his bedroom for the week :) Though kitchen was not large, it was well stocked. The beverage fridges and serving counter worked really nice for meal time. Pool and hot tub worked well."

"This house was great for our first family beach vacation in a few years with family coming from Maryland, Virginia and California There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out inside and out The children loved the top floor as a playroom. Loved the Corolla Light activities and the views of the ocean and the lighthouse. Called Twiddy for some minor issues and was impressed how fast they responded to each issue."

Thank you for choosing The Salty Malts’ Beach House. The beach access is actually right up the street. The fence is provided by the Corolla Light community and hopefully keeps a barrier so people do not travel through the yard, and allows you privacy. I hope you were able to find the access during your stay. We will definitely look at options for better access. Thank you
"Great house - great location, great accommodations. Liked the separate rooms instead of wide open. Kids had their own little space. Pool area was great. Would rent again without any concerns. Only recommendation- house needs power wash as there were dead bugs all over the window sills."
We are so glad you enjoyed our home. We do a power wash in the spring but unfortunately not enough time to power wash between rentals. We have made a note and maybe we will have to block off time throughout the summer to have that done.

"We have stayed at this home for two summers now and love the view and convenience to the beach. If we stay in this house again, we will bring our own mattress toppers because the mattresses need to be replaced. Also, one of the bathroom doors needs a lock put on. We had mentioned that last year and I am surprised that was not fixed. Overall, a nice house."
"We really enjoyed our time in this wonderful home! I especially enjoyed the sitting room off the kitchen - there is a great view of the lighthouse and you can see the ocean. The kids really enjoyed the room on the third floor. It had stunning views of the ocean and was a great place for slumber parties! The walk to the beach access was relatively easy and not too far. There are a few sets of stairs to lug your things down but that’s to be expected. The kitchen had everything we needed - including kid’s dishes. The pool area was a big hit. The pool heater was very necessary due to the chilly weather we experienced. It kept the water nice and warm! Thanks for a great week!"
