"The house was brand new and has a well equipped kitchen. It's a smaller house in general - the bedrooms are not spacious, but that was ok for us (just 3 adults). We had a great view of the sound, although a house will be built directly across the street soon. The neighborhood is a safe place to ride bikes. The pier is a nice feature but it's much too shallow to fish from it. Although we didn't use them, they're was a paddle board and kayak for use by guests. We had effects from hurricane Ian but felt safe and comfortable staying."

"This house was the perfect size for our combined family vacation (7 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog) The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and dishware. We loved the big table in the dining area and the extended kitchen island. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. We also enjoyed the pool area and yard space. This was our first trip to OBX so we were pleasantly surprised that this home had an easy drive to nearby shopping and beach access. Its a nice location and a relatively quiet community. We also loved how close it is to the private community pier."

To directly respond to your request, we are working with our landscaping vendor to minimize disruption to our guests. Several factors can affect the scheduling for lawn maintenance (primarily weather) so it is difficult to confirm a preset time/date for each treatment but we are working to publish an expected day of the week for this service. Once we have this confirmed, we will add this information to the flyer that we post on the refrigerator for all guests. We have also worked with our lawn maintenance vendor to minimize sprinkler usage during peak hours guests will be utilizing the outdoor pool area. For 2023, we are planning a few interior upgrades and will continue to provide a home fully stocked with everything needed to make your Outer Banks vacation a memorable one. "Our family of seven loved the beautifully appointed bright & cheery house. The great room was lovely giving you the perfect view of sunsets. The kitchen had all new major appliances, as well as, new dishes, cutlery, silverware, top of the line bakeware & cookware. The interior decorating was so serene & just perfect for a relaxing vacation. We would definitely choose this home again for our family vacation. Twiddy was always responsive whenever we had a question. Community had a private dock to watch the gorgeous sunsets. Thank you for sharing your splendid home with our family!"
