You will be when you shift into 4-wheel drive and head for “The Lucky Penny!” Located directly on the oceanfront on the 4x4 beach, this home offers peace and quiet, as it is situated on ten acres. Stunning ocean views and plenty of space make this home the perfect venue for large gatherings of family and friends. A resort within itself, this pet-friendly retreat offers many amenities in a unique coastal setting.
The top level of the home will be where everyone gathers, as the great room is large enough to accommodate your entire group. The wall of windows gives a panoramic view of the ocean and allows the beautiful view of the sea to fill the room. Relax and watch TV in the living area or catch up with family and friends in the sitting area nearby. A fireplace is available for use during chillier months of the year. For those who love to sneak away with a good book, there is a loft just off of the great room that is the perfect place to read. The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals for a crowd. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers, a wine cooler, and plenty of counter space are available so multiple cooks can work simultaneously in the kitchen. Kitchen countertop bar seating is available, as well as two dining areas nearby. Be sure to step outside onto the oceanfront deck with your morning coffee to watch a beautiful Outer Banks sunrise. A half bathroom is included on the top floor. There are three master bedrooms on the third floor, each with a private bathroom. The largest of the master bedrooms includes deck access and a sitting area with a fireplace.
Seven master bedrooms are available on the middle level of the home, each with deck access and a private bathroom. Movie night goes to an epic new level in the theater room on the middle floor, which has comfortable tiered seating. There’s no need to trek up the stairs for a snack or drink, as there is a wet bar with a refrigerator and microwave in the den on the middle level. The laundry room is also conveniently located on the second floor.
Seven additional master bedrooms can be found on the ground floor of the home, each with a private bathroom. Fun evenings are in store in the rec room, which features a pool table and card table. A wet bar with a refrigerator and microwave are nearby to keep everyone fueled up and ready to play.
The fun continues outside, where you can choose to splash in the private pool or simply lounge in the sunshine. The poolside cabana is available when you’re ready for a break from the sun. From the pool area, there is a private walkway to the beach so you’ll have your toes in the sand in no time. At the day’s end, take time to relax with a restorative soak in the hot tub. Seventeen master bedrooms and multiple common areas with a variety of amenities mean there’s something for everyone at this coastal retreat. “The Lucky Penny” will have your group feeling fortunate to spend time together on the Outer Banks!
