"We loved our stay at Nautical Nonsense. The view is amazing and the house is beautiful, well appointed, and well-kept. There was so much space for our family to spread out, lounge and rest. Did I say rest? The sofas were so comfortable, I couldn't even bring myself to work away from home. I had my laptop open and next thing - I was fast asleep. It was truly a much-needed time to relax and enjoy. The weather was brisk this year, but we still had an amazing time. The kids loved the cubby space and hideout. The adults loved that the kids could keep themselves busy in a different area. We love the 4x4 beaches! It's going to be hard to try a new area on a future stay."

"My two boys loved the built in bunk beds and the secret kids nook. Apparently my son loved the animal bean bag in the nook best because when we got home he drew a picture of it. I loved the beach decor and furniture and appreciated the dog food and water bowl under the sink as we forgot ours. We had horses in the yard almost every evening and saw dolphins from the deck. We have stayed in three different houses the past three years and this by far was our favorite— my son had full on tears when we were leaving. So we will be booking this home for another trip again soon."

"The home is so comfortable, well stocked and set up so well. The gates on the lower floors are so convenient if you are traveling with a dog! This was our second trip to the outer banks but first to this house. We loved it and booked it again for next year and can’t wait to return. We saw lots of horses both on the beach and around the house and saw dolphins. Sitting on the deck with coffee is bliss!"
