"OMG... The location!!! We were literally on the wild horse highway.. they came through the front yard ate in the back yard and left through the side yard.. I counted 12 different ones and the babies nurses right in front of us. Well equipped house for entertaining!!! "We were extremely pleased with this house. It's very comfortable inside. We loved sitting on the deck in the late afternoon--you can still hear the waves and enjoy a good breeze while the sun is blocked by the house. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental house we have ever stayed at anywhere. I always bring my own pans when I rent a house but I didn't have to use anything that I brought to cook with. I was worried the house would not be very clean since it's surrounded by sand -- but the house was very clean, and I am picky! I would most definitely rent this house again."
"Truthfully, the off season price! It’s a great home for what I need. The kitchen was well equipped, living room is nice, deck is great, You can hear the ocean while chillin. I do have a few suggestions, sofa is a little warm out, the mattress in the first bd on right is super noisy, it’s comfy but creaks. I think the tv is having issues with hdmi inputs, signal from satellite box stops working, tv will show “no hdmi input”. I tried to swap hdmi ports all with the same result. I changed to tv inputs to the rca cables for the dvr. Then the tv worked well. Only problem with using that input it cuts off the edges of the program, I did adjust the aspect ratio on tv and sat box. I have seen the problem with TVs before, the hdmi input board is going bad."

This was one of the best vacations I have ever had, the 4x4 beaches are simply beautiful and unlike any location in the country. The main reason I go to OBX is because you can drive on the beach, Carova is ALL beach and simply amazing. I will be back!"
