Take a break from the ordinary at “Swan Haven Hideaway” in Carova Beach! Located approximately 8 miles up the 4x4 beach, driving on the beach to get to the home is a key part of your vacation experience. Upon arriving at the home, the unique canalfront location offers views of the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge and unobstructed views toward the south, offering a sense of privacy and inviting you to relax and unwind.
Step into the great room on the home’s third level, a spacious and welcoming space flooded with natural light. The living area is thoughtfully furnished, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and quality time with loved ones. Just outside on the deck, keep an eye out for the Corolla Wild Horses, who live in and regularly roam through the area. Back inside and up a short flight of stairs, you’ll find a den with a foosball table. The den is equipped with a beverage refrigerator in the wet bar, ensuring your comfort and convenience. In the kitchen on the third floor, you’ll find all the equipment needed to prepare meals throughout your stay. Meals can be enjoyed together in the dining area, which overlooks the canal. The sun room on the third level offers a serene retreat with a good book. There is one master bedroom on the third floor, which includes a private bathroom. A half bathroom is also available on the third level.
On the second floor, you’ll find sleeping quarters. There are three master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and two with access to the deck. There are two additional bedrooms and one full bathroom. Laundry facilities are available on the second level as well. You’ll find a cabana half bathroom on the ground floor that conveniently opens to the pool area. There is also a second full refrigerator in the entryway to the home on the first floor.
Outside, make a splash in the private pool or simply hang out and enjoy the serenity around the poolside. When you’re ready to take a break from the pool, the nearby tiki bar awaits you. There are plenty of leisure opportunities on the sound, as there is a kayak launch onsite, as well as a private canalfront dock that can be used for fishing or crabbing. Enjoy a restorative soak in the hot tub at the end of a long day. When you’re ready for a day at the beach, load up your vehicle and head back down the sand roads and over the dune to the oceanfront. “Swan Haven Hideaway” offers the opportunity to escape it all and make treasured OBX vacation memories!

A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
