"Full Speed Ahead always feels like home to us. You can tell the owners really care for the home and it’s got a cozy feel to it. This is our 4th stay at this house and the owners just recently updated countertops in the kitchen and replaced carpeting. The red bunk bed circa 1994 has some real nostalgia for me, my cousin had that exact model we would use for sleepovers! My kids love it now, too. We enjoy sitting on the top deck and listening to the ocean during lunch time before going back out to the beach. Hot tub is super convenient on the top floor and great for Star watching at night. The screened in porch is a nice place to feed kids that are soaking wet from swimming,"

"I love the owners attention to detail (labels in the kitchen, I’m talking to you!). They take pride in their property and make fixed and upgrades when needed. Full speed ahead has always felt like home to us. We appreciate that it’s dog friendly (that is what first brought us to OBX 8 years ago). We especially like the hot tub on the top deck making it easily accessible, and the picnic table/screened in porch to corral the kids for lunch while they dry off!"
