“Changes in Latitudes”, changes in attitudes during your vacation at this well-equipped oceanfront home! Views of both the ocean and the coastal landscape are yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Located approximately 7.4 miles up the 4x4 beach, you’ll appreciate the gorgeous ocean view as you drive on the beach to reach this beach house.
The home’s main living space is the great room on the third floor, which features large windows that allow the beautiful view to fill the space. The living area is comfortably furnished and welcomes your family to kick back and relax. Take family movie night up a level with the surround sound home theater system. An electric fireplace is available for use during the cooler months of the year. Across the room, there is an elevated sitting area, the ship’s watch, that features ocean views and is perfect for curling up with your favorite book. Outside on the deck, enjoy salty breezes, ocean views, and maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of the Corolla Wild Horses that regularly roam through the area. Back inside, the kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare meals for the duration of your stay, just add groceries. Family meals can be enjoyed together in the dining area nearby or outside on the screened porch. Two dishwashers in the kitchen are a huge help when it’s time to clean up. There are two master bedrooms on the third floor, each with a private bathroom and one with deck access. A half bathroom completes the top level of the home.
On the second floor of the home, there are three additional master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and two with access to the covered decks. There is one additional bedroom with a semi-private bathroom that also opens to the common area. The den also has access to the covered deck and can serve as a second living area, and it includes a door for additional privacy. Outside on the deck, there are a variety of seating options, perfect for relaxing and listening to the waves roll in. On the ground floor, there is a half bathroom that is accessible from the outside only.
Outside, fun in the sun will be on your vacation agenda. Take a dip in the refreshing private pool, or soak your cares away in the bubbling hot tub. Take a stroll down the private walkway to the beach, which includes a dune deck that is equipped with a wet bar with beverage refrigerator, a foot wash, and plenty of seating. “Changes in Latitudes” is ready to host your family’s Outer Banks vacation!

Situated on the wonderfully unique 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach offers vacationing friends and families the opportunity to enjoy time together on the coast without the distractions of a bustling neighborhood environment. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
