Shift into 4-wheel drive and head up the beach to “Blue Horizon OBX” in Carova! Located just one lot back from the beach, this semi-oceanfront home offers breathtaking views of the ocean and dunes. With five bedrooms and a plethora of fun amenities, your entire family, including your dog, will love all that this well-equipped pet friendly home has to offer.
On the third floor, you’ll find the great room, which features an open-concept layout and plenty of natural light. Kick back and relax in the comfortably furnished living area, or step outside onto the deck to enjoy the ocean view and salty breeze. Back inside, the kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare meals throughout your stay, just add groceries. Meals can be enjoyed together as a family in the dining area. The sunroom on the top level is the perfect place to sneak away with a good book. There is one master bedroom on the top floor, which includes a private bathroom. A half bathroom completes the third level of the home.
The second floor consists of sleeping quarters, with the remaining four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are masters, each with a private bathroom. Another bedroom has an attached bathroom that also opens to the hallway. Laundry facilities are also available on the middle level of the home. On the ground floor, the media room serves as an additional living area and includes a shuffleboard table. There is a kitchenette with a wet bar, dishwasher, and a full refrigerator for easy access to cold drinks, as well as additional cold food storage. The full bathroom on the ground floor is convenient to both the media room and the pool area.
Outside, take a dip in the refreshing private pool. For the littlest ones in your group, there is a separate kiddie pool nearby. When you’re ready to take a break from the pool, head over to the tiki bar to relax in the shade. After dark, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub as you gaze up at all of the stars in the dark night sky. Take a leisurely stroll in the sand to reach the ocean, or load the car up, drive back over the dune, and park your vehicle to tailgate on the beach for the day. A stay at “Blue Horizon OBX” will leave you sunkissed with vacation memories!

Situated on the wonderfully unique 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach offers vacationing friends and families the opportunity to enjoy time together on the coast without the distractions of a bustling neighborhood environment. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
