Enjoy an “After Dune Delight” in the heart of serene Carova Beach! Located approximately 9 miles up the 4x4 beach, ocean views and salty breezes await you at every turn. Located within walking distance of the sandy shore, this pet friendly retreat blends laid-back comfort with coastal style, perfect for unplugging and reconnecting with loved ones.
Step inside to find a thoughtfully designed beach house with cozy charm. On the top floor, an open and bright great room offers views of the ocean and the surrounding coastal landscape through the large windows. Gather the entire family in the living area, which features plush seating and is the ideal gathering spot before or after a day on the beach. The kitchen is completely stocked with all equipment needed, including modern appliances and ample counter space, making group meals and morning coffee simple and enjoyable. Relax outside on the deck at any time of the day, whether you’re watching the sky change colors as the sun rises over the horizon or enjoying dinner al fresco. Be on the lookout for the Corolla Wild Horses, as they live in and regularly roam through the area.
On the ground floor, relax in the rec room featuring a multicade arcade game, coffee bar, and refrigerator to keep refreshments handy. Outside, serenity and adventure go hand in hand. Take a dip in the private pool to stay cool. Lounge in the bubbling hot tub in the evening before heading to bed.
The six bedrooms are designed for comfort and flexibility, allowing everyone in your group to enjoy privacy and convenience. There are three master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and deck access. Two bedrooms feature semi-private full bathrooms that open to the common space.
Whether you're enjoying oceanfront sunrises, long walks on the beach to collect seashells, or relaxing evenings on the deck, “After Dune Delight” promises a laid-back and memorable OBX 4x4 beach experience!

Situated on the wonderfully unique 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach offers vacationing friends and families the opportunity to enjoy time together on the coast without the distractions of a bustling neighborhood environment. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
