Enjoy coastal comfort on the oceanfront at “Pelican’s Perch” in Duck! Located directly on the beach, this cottage offers gorgeous ocean views and fun amenities. With classic Outer Banks beach house decor and a spacious layout, everyone in your group will love this charming retreat.
In the great room on the top level of the home, the ocean view shines through the windows to fill the room. Featuring classic Outer Banks beach cottage architecture and decor, the great room is comfortably appointed. Kick back and relax in the living area and watch TV or simply gaze out at the waves rolling in. The gas fireplace is available for use during cooler months of the year. Across the room, the kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare meals throughout your vacation. Enjoy meals in the nearby dining area, or head outdoors onto the deck to eat as you listen to the waves lap the shore. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy the view and salty breeze at any time of the day, from sunrise with your morning coffee to late afternoon with your favorite cold beverage. Back inside the home, there is one master bedroom with an attached bathroom and access to the deck. A half bathroom is also available on the third floor.
On the second floor, you’ll find two bedrooms, each with deck access, that share a full bathroom between them. There are two additional bedrooms, one with access to the deck and a full bathroom. Outside on the covered deck, soak your cares away in the hot tub, which offers views of the ocean. Stroll down the steps to make a splash in the private pool. This was our second time at this home and we really enjoyed all of the new furniture in the great room. This was our first Thanksgiving in OBX and I have to say the wonderfully stocked kitchen made cooking fun and seamless. We loved the fireplace and the ambiance it created on chilly days. The seating arrangement in front of the window was our go to spot for ocean viewing. We sat there for hours watching the seagulls and Pelican! We really enjoyed the hot tub as well and appreciated it’s tucked away location on the middle deck. This home is really a gem! It has everything I look for in a vacation home. It’s a beautifully maintained home, with comfortable furnishings, nice amenities and stunning views! We will definitely return to Pelicans Perch!"

"We love this home! The location is perfect with having the road access beside it going to the beach. The small pool is perfect and the house is just the right size for us. It’s always very clean and has everything we need. The ice maker is especially nice for packing our small coolers for the beach! The beds are comfortable and the main floor is decorated nicely and has nice, comfy furniture and a large table for eating and doing puzzles. The views are fabulous! The large windows and the front deck are perfect for watching the sunrise! We are already booked for next year!"

We couldn't hear the younger parents up late in the hot tub from the master suite. Beautiful beach! The boys loved the basketball hoop. Everyone of all ages had a terrific vacation!"
"Absolutely loved the new updated decor of the house from previous pictures. Wonderful supplies in the kitchen. I brought some of my own and didn’t need them at all. The extra refrigerator and the ice maker were both very helpful! My husband and I and our adult kids and grandkids loved the pool and the hot tub. No other way to enjoy the beach except ocean front where you can walk right to the beach or enjoy the views from the decks! A rocking chair would be awesome on the top deck! 😁"

Wished there was a toaster instead of the toaster oven and a Keurig, but that’s more about my personal preference. Hope to return in 2022 !"

Beds did not sleep particularly well and some cable tv issues when we arrived but they were quickly resolved. Also it would have been nice to have outdoor lighting at pool to use in the evening."
