The Lost Colony

The Lost Colony is a must-see production that celebrates the history of the first English colony on Roanoke Island and is the longest-running outdoor symphonic drama in the nation. Last season, we joined Director Jeff Whiting for a behind-the-scenes look at The Lost Colony.

Bodie Island Lighthouse Full Moon Tours are an incredible opportunity to experience the lighthouse like never before. Climb to the top with the light of the moon guiding your way. WHEN Tuesdays | 7:30am – 8am | Summer

Begin the day with Yoga on the Green. Every week, Duck Village Yoga will lead a free all levels gentle morning yoga practice. If you can’t make it, check out the town of Duck’s Facebook, where the session will be streamed live and available to watch for 48 hours.

Back for the 2022 summer season, the town of Duck is once again hosting Movies on the Green! Bring the family, lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, and picnics for a free family movie night under the stars.

Mustang Mornings

WHERE Betsy Dowdy Equine Center in Grandy

WHEN Wednesdays | 10am – 2pm | Summer

Join the Corolla Wild Horse Fund at their “off-island” sanctuary every week to meet the rescued Corolla horses currently in their care. There is a suggested donation of $10 per car at the gate. Every donation goes towards preserving and rescuing Corolla’s horses.
