This Week on the Outer Banks: What to Do and See During Your OBX Vacation

This week on the Outer Banks, there’s a lot going on! One of the most common questions we receive is “what’s happening this week on the Outer Banks?” Edward is here to let you know what’s going on this week on the Outer Banks in our new video series. You’ll hear about local weekly events, such as the Dowdy Park Farmer’s Market, as well as special events happening just this week, like Hoofstock, a benefit for the Corolla Wild Horse Fund

Edward will also give you a local’s perspective on our favorite things to do on the Outer Banks, including businesses and landmarks that we’re visiting this week. We are frequently seen at Surfin’ Spoon with a bowl of froyo or a tasty homemade ice cream sandwich (the Lemon Lavberry sandwich is our jam!). You may see us with our families climbing the Currituck Lighthouse or visit H2OBX Waterpark. Many of us make a yearly visit to see The Lost Colony, which is returning this week for its 84th season.

If you follow Twiddy on Facebook or Instagram already, you know that we love to eat! We’ll be featuring local restaurants along with other OBX businesses in our “This Week on the Outer Banks” series.

This Week on the Outer Banks in Duck and Corolla

Want to stay close to your vacation home in Duck or Corolla during your stay? There is plenty to do this week in both towns! Duck and Corolla both currently offer free yoga classes. In Corolla, yoga in the park is held weekly at historic Whalehead. Duck Town Park’s yoga on the green kicks off for the season on June 15th with both in-person and virtual options
