Rob is originally from Richmond, Virginia and graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1975.
Rob obtained his Virginia Salesman License in 1972 and began his real estate career as an appraiser.
In 1982, he established his own real estate company in Kitty Hawk. His firm was active in sales, appraisals, rentals and property management.
In 1999, Rob sold his company and joined Twiddy & Company's Duck office as an Associate Broker.
With over 40 of years experience in the Outer Banks real estate market, Rob is able to assist you with all of your real estate needs.

July 2019 "I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am that I ended up with Rob Ladd as my real estate agent. I live in New Jersey and expected that buying a house so far from home would be a difficult experience. Rob made it easy. He understood what I was looking for and made helpful suggestions when he thought I might be overlooking something. Based on the phone and email communications, we settled on a list of 5 or 6 houses for me to view in person. I drove to Corolla and Rob spent the day with me looking at houses. They were all good, but one stood out. A couple of days later I made an offer. I am extremely grateful for Rob's assistance with the offer and negotiation process. My first contact with Rob was on May 11, and we closed on my house on July 1. I was eager to get the closing done before the peak rental season, and Rob really worked to make that happen. He knew that I wanted a rental investment, and he helped me make a smart decision. Some of the houses didn't have rental history but had rental projections. He let me know when he thought the projections were too optimistic, and that really helped my decision-making process. My family is excited to spend the last week in August in our new house!"
