Overall condition of house was good. Location was great. One screen had a hole the size of a basketball through it. We rarely had it opened so it didn't really matter. Just not nice to look at. The layout was decent. Overall, very nice home which we will always have fond memories of during our Outer Banks location.

house interior needs painted , one door on 3rd floor deck wouldn't open, landing at front steps - nail heads popping up. carpets need shampooed. Hole in poolside concrete patio near love seat swing.

Our women's bible study group of 12 stayed here in may 2012 and had a wonderful time- we were really surprised by the space at the kitchen table that let us all stay together for meals and study!!! The only draw back is all those stairs - DUH 4 stories WILL HAVE STAIRS HAHA - but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger- we were all touting better leg strength by the end of our stay.

Perfect location! Ideal for teens - it's safe with tons of stuff to do in nearby Duck. Beach out our back door and private pool really spoiled us. Ground floor bedrooms need attention.

Answer There are a lot of family friendly activities in Duck. At Duck Park there is a playground, a boardwalk over the sound to watch the local wildlife, an area to launch kayaks, a shaded area to enjoy an afternoon picnic, and a connecting walkway to great restaurants and shops.
