The location was fabulous! We really enjoyed our time at Decoy. We would absolutely stay there again.

Decoy is not the most pretentious home in Duck and its relatively modest size may not be suitable for large groups. However, its casual comfort and location on the ocean makes it our annual first choice. It is located on the ocean with its own ocean deck and stairway to the sand -- but it is positioned far enough back on the lot to feel safe in storms. The deck outside the living room is ideal for watching sunrises, and the side deck gives equal drama to sunsets. Porpoises, birds, especially Pelicans, not to mention people-watching, from the living room or the front deck, provide constant entertainment! It is the perfect place for surf-fishing, beach walking, sun-bathing, a quiet reading-retreat with the sound of the surf to sooth, or for short trips to Duck's restaurants and shops, and Corolla's impressive lighthouse. It is a value-packed, charming winner.
