High Dune V12215

High Dune, bar none, was one of the best vacation homes we have ever rented. We have done Hatteras, Pine Island, Corolloa Light.....it is so worth the 9 mile drive up the beach. everyday wild ponies on the dunes, pelicans galore. We will never rent anywhere else, but 4x4.

Wonderful love it

This is my third time renting High Dune. I have rented two other OBX 4x4 homes. I am debating returning to High Dune for 2013 or choosing a different home. The pool heater was not working properly. By the end of the week the pool water was much hotter han the hot tub. We couldnt enter the pool thursday or friday without risking getting burned. The heater ran continuously. The internet was not reliable and unfortunately was necessary. Finally, there isn't an excuse for proving standard defintion TV programming instead of high definition at least on the main TV. The picture quality is awful. A few premium channels or NFL package would be nice for rainy days but I wont push my luck. I like the location, the value, and appreciate not paying higher rent for granite and stainless appliances.

This was our first time to visit the northern Outer Banks and based on our experience this year will be the first of many more visits to come. Our expectations of The High Dunes home was everything plus more, much more! The homes amenities were more than expected. The large windows and deck areas give you the ability to experience the breath taken views that will stay with you forever. Bedrooms are vary spacious and comfortable. No roads, but driving on the beach instead, adds to the the adventure and in my opinion value of this home.

This was the perfect house for our family. We were married at the house on September 20th. The house provided the perfect backdrop to our special day.
