Recent Sanderling Area Reviews

3rd year renting this home for a late May vacation & we still love it! It is the perfect set up! The neighborhood, the best on the OBX, has a woodsy feel, nature trail & pond, & great beach access. The layout of the house & outdoor spaces allows for even a crowd of people to have private spaces.1 down & 4 upstairs bedrooms are offset for privacy. 3 full & 1 half bath insure that you never have to wait in line. An open kitchen/dining/living space can accommodate a huge crowd. Private decks, screened porch, outdoor tables, benches, chaises, and chairs PLUS a hot tub, shower, fish cleaning area, grills and covered parking or lounging area & additional refrigerator are all very welcome amenities. The elevator makes hauling luggage & groceries a snap & is a desirable feature for anyone with mobility issues. Fantastic views, close proximity to the town of Duck with its charming boardwalk & shops, & the much less crowded beaches make this house the best value & experience for our family. We love this house!

Review for Shellz and Rays, in Sanderling, NC.

Well after renting every spring for 9 years I think that says it all. The location of this home in Sanderling is perfect for pet walking, easy access to the beach, well spaced from neighbors, a great open area plan on the top floor with views of sea and sound. Uncluttered with just the right amount of furniture and carpets only in bedrooms and on stairs. Also not too many steps to climb for those who have trouble doing ups and downs.

Review for Sand In My Shoes, in Sanderling, NC.

This home is our ideal rental because of the size, not too big but with plenty of bedrooms and space. The location is the very beast. Of all the subdivisions in the Outer Banks we love Sanderling the best because of the nature trails and the ease to walk from sound to beach. Duck is our favorite town and we love going there to shop, eat at wonderful restaurants and walk the boardwalk. This house, directly on the beach provided us with everything we love.

Review for That's My Desire, in Sanderling, NC.

Open and inviting common living space upstairs (top level) with awesome views of the ocean. This home has impressed us with not only its overall design, but its insulation and the quality of construction. Bedrooms are quiet and afford privacy even with as many as 6 or 7, including two teenagers, in the home.

Review for Trident, in Sanderling, NC.

Shore Thing is a perfect vacation home for my family and friends when we travel to the Outer Banks. The elevator was a major reason we looked into this house and after our first stay we really fell in love with its design and layout. It really helped make it an enjoyable experience. The spacious side porch upstairs was our hang out. The Sanderling development is extremely thoughtful in its landscaping and design and is a nice calm escape from other busy areas of the Outer Banks.
