Recent Sanderling Area Reviews

This home is our ideal rental because of the size, not too big but with plenty of bedrooms and space. The location is the very beast. Of all the subdivisions in the Outer Banks we love Sanderling the best because of the nature trails and the ease to walk from sound to beach. Duck is our favorite town and we love going there to shop, eat at wonderful restaurants and walk the boardwalk. This house, directly on the beach provided us with everything we love.

Review for That's My Desire, in Sanderling, NC.

Open and inviting common living space upstairs (top level) with awesome views of the ocean. This home has impressed us with not only its overall design, but its insulation and the quality of construction. Bedrooms are quiet and afford privacy even with as many as 6 or 7, including two teenagers, in the home.

Review for Trident, in Sanderling, NC.

This house (Trident) is in great condition and you can't beat the location or the view of the ocean! It was wonderful to fall asleep listening to the sound of ocean waves and to drink coffee while watching the waves from the deck each morning. The layout is spacious and we had everything we needed and more. This is definitely the nicest house I have stayed in during my trips to OBX. The walkway to the beach is just steps from the house, which makes it ideal for parents who are lugging beach chairs and toys. And the beach never gets crowded...another perk of staying in Sanderling.

Review for Trident, in Sanderling, NC.

This Sanderling house suits all our needs, especially being pet friendly and having a king size bed. This was our 9th visit in Sand In My Shoes and will continue spring rentals in years ahead. Appreciate the new bedspreads and chairs on the decks. This is the perfect house for one or two families who want peace and yet closeness to the ocean with a screened in porch view of the sound and they can bring their dog.

Review for Sand In My Shoes, in Sanderling, NC.

I felt so fortunate that owners shared this amazing home. I loved how clean and updated it was (guessing all had been recently done as kitchen and master bath, etc. appeared to have not gone through a full summer of renting yet?) I had not been to the Outer Banks in some time (my children still return each year with their father but unfortunately, not in my divorcee budget quite as easily.) I would love to be able to budget for another off-season "luxury" since I have the ability to work remotely now so still got in almost a full week and got to take advantage of the therapeutic benefits of the Outer Banks (which I have desperately missed!!) Thank you all!
