Travel 12 North to the beautiful Sea Gypsy in Pine Island. Situated in between the many attractions of Duck and Corolla, this home provides a perfect base for a classic Outer Banks vacation. However, you may not want to wander far from this well-equipped beach house. Enjoy being a short walk from the sandy beaches and rolling waves. Take a dip in your own private pool on your way to or from the beach or enjoy the comfort of the hot tub at night. This house’s location and exterior features have a lot to offer, but your Outer Banks vacation wouldn’t be complete without the excellent accommodations within the home.
The top floor proves to be a great place to gather as a group. The spacious kitchen makes meal prep and cleanup a breeze. This kitchen also features an island with barstool seating for six. The dining room neighbors the kitchen and includes a table for ten. Enjoy ocean views from the dining room while indulging in a meal with your group. In fact, you can enjoy ocean views from every room on the top floor. The great room boasts plenty of seating for the whole group, and a flat screen smart tv. After a long day at the beach or a nice meal, the deck provides the perfect spot for you and your group to enjoy the salty ocean breezes, the countless stars, and each other's company. The top floor wouldn’t be complete without a master bedroom. The master bedroom consists of a King bed, a private, full bathroom, and private deck access.
The second floor consists of four bedrooms. There are two master bedrooms, one with a King and the other with a Queen, both with private bathrooms. An additional bedroom with a Queen bed and semi-private bath lies in between the two master bedrooms. All three of these rooms have deck access and ocean views. A bedroom with duo bunk set consisting of a double bed on the bottom with a twin bed on top accompanied by a twin trundle completes the bedroom arrangement on the second floor.
The bottom floor consists of a bedroom, den, and laundry room. The bedroom is equipped with a Queen bed and a semi-private bath. The den is a perfect spot to hang out between visits to the beach or pool. It features plenty of places to rest and watch TV on the flat screen. There is even a Queen sleeper sofa. The den's direct access to the pool area makes it extremely convenient.
If you are looking for a house in a convenient location with amenities to satisfy everyone in your group, then the Sea Gypsy in Pine Island is the house for you.

"We enjoyed the home so much. The views from the living room were by far the best we have ever experienced in previous homes. There are a few things that need attention; the ice maker does not work, the freezer did not freeze entirely even after we adjusted the temperature, the pots and pans (although good quality) have been abused to the point that they need to be replaced. The kitchen sink faucet fell off completely while we were there but Twiddy and the home owner reacted quickly and it was replaced. Probably an issue at all houses but those bugs are awful. I realize it's probably impossible to stay on top of them but the build home around the doors was extremely thick as though they have not been removed in a very long time. There were two exterior doors that were not able to be used because they were to thick. The pool deck was also full of them. There was a pressure washer in the garage that perhaps should be used. The home is spectacular and we would certainly return. Just a few suggestions."
Thank you for the 5 star rating Carol. We will continue to upgrade as you suggested. We were disappointed that our pots and pans seem to have been abused since we were last at our home in the spring. Yes, the midges are terrible this year and we hate them too. The house was repainted in April, pool deck resurfaced and windows washed in May. We had no idea that the bug problem even existed and spent much of our first few days cleaning up only to have the midges reappear the next evening. Keeping

"We had an incredible two week vacation. Everything was great - and we were surprised by all of the extra's - bikes to ride, 2 - kayaks and all the gear, beach gear - tent and canopy, baby supplies - high chair and folding bed. Also, we were able to utilize the plentiful dishes, pots and pans, etc... What a great place. On the Twiddy side, towels supplied were low in quantity and very thin. Awesome place!"

"A beautiful house and location! Sea Gypsy has the best views we've experienced at the OBX, with almost floor to ceiling windows and plenty of them. The large pool get's late afternoon sun, which is unusual for an ocean front house. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms fit our 4 families perfectly. Hoping to share this house again in 2021 with our kids and grandkids, minus the pandemic of course!"
