"The home was big, spacious, and beautiful. We really enjoyed our time at the house. There was always something to do. The kids loved the pool, hot tub, pool table and ping pong. Short walks to the beach and to Timbuck II. Our furry friend was just as excited as we were when we arrived. Thank you for sharing this home with us!"

"We had a great time and loved the house. The pool and hot tub got alot of use, as did the pool table and ping pong."

"The house was perfect! A few hiccups when we first arrived, but Twiddy was on top of it! Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there, but the house being as cozy and functional as it was made the rainy days not so bad."

"The room setup was great for our large family, especially the pool table/table tennis"

Thanks for taking the time to review Allora! Hope you come again!

"This house has new owners and the flooring and walls had been updated. It was comfortable and all of us had a great vacation. That said there are a few things that I had to reach out to Twiddy about and were corrected quickly: dishwashers both needed bolted in, table leg bent, no broom in the home. However the reason for the 3 stars is this: the outside of the house was a mess. We cleaned up three Walmart bags of trash from the front and sides of the home. Snack bags, old dried up pool toys, bottle tops, glass, cans, food wrappers, clothing even an old disposable camera. There is also standing water after showers, pool use and heavy rain around the pool nearest the pool filter area of the enclosure. Around the pool area were lots of leaves from the surrounding trees; we swept those up after receiving the broom. But the other pool areas from neighboring houses didn’t have the abundance of dried leaves, cigarette butts and dried up pool toys that Allora did. The kitchen had a lot of helpful gadgets (I am purchasing a Pampered Chef can opener immediately!!) but needs more cups/glasses, forks and spoons. A crockpot would be helpful as well. We purchased a XL pitcher at Walmart and left it for others use. Also, having the Keurig was great! My last thought would be adding a house information binder for quick reference. Yes we all have cell phones but having that information specific to that house is such a help: trash pickups, favorite restaurants, check out info."

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know how we can take better care of the house to make it your favorite place to stay at the Outer Banks! I'm calling Twiddy as soon as they open tomorrow to find out what can be done to clean up the outside after every guest leaves. Your suggestions are so helpful and thorough. I will definitely start compiling information to put in a binder for our future guests.

"Spacious house, clean, comfortable furniture. Kitchen could be better stocked and landscaping better maintained."

Thank you so much for this feedback! We are new owners of Allora, formerly Blue Moon II, and take every comment seriously. We've already stocked the kitchen with everything a good cook needs or wants. We hope you'll come back and stay at Allora again! Have a great day!

"Very nice home. The layout is great. The outside could be cleaned up a bit. The kitchen is beautiful but does not have many necessity items needed. The walk is about 5 minutes but we rode our bikes. Nice bike ride. We would stay here again."

Rhonda C   ·  Stayed June 2020

"The home is nicely decorated and cozy. Plenty of room for the 10 people we had there. However, the kitchen could be more well stocked with cooking tools and larger pots. Also, there was a big ant problem in the kitchen."
