Smell the sea and feel the sky, let your soul and spirit fly “Into The Mystic!” Plan for a fun family vacation at this oceanfront vacation home in Corolla. This six-bedroom beachfront house features many upgrades. The beautiful ocean view can be enjoyed all day long from the light and airy great room on the top level. Comfortable seating can be found in the living area. Step outside onto the deck to enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon beverage in the salty ocean breeze. The ship’s watch offers a quiet nook for reading a good book. The attractive kitchen is spacious, with ample counter space for meal prep. Cleanup is a breeze with two dishwashers. There is seating for everyone between the large dining table and countertop seating. There is a master bedroom, with an attached private bathroom, that has ocean views and deck access on the top level. A half bathroom completes the top level.
The middle level consists of three master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. One of the bathrooms features a whirlpool bathtub. Laundry facilities are located on this level for convenience. The ground level features two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a rec room. There is a wet bar in the rec room, convenient for breaks in play that require a snack and drink. Step outside to play and enjoy the sunshine. Float in the private pool or simply relax in one of the lounge chairs. Once the sun sets for the night, gaze at the stars while soaking in the hot tub. The beach access is just a few homes away. You’ll love “Into The Mystic,” a magnificent home away from home on the Corolla oceanfront!

"I wish I had the option of giving this home a 4.5. 4 is just a little too low. This is a great home! It’s well kept and perfect for a large or small group. The location is fantastic! Beautiful view of the ocean and not far from beach access. Our group had just a few small suggestions to improve the stay -- garbage cans in each bathroom, a couple of drink pitchers with lids for the kitchen, and a shelf or hooks in the outside shower. The hot tub didn’t work well, but I understand it’s being replaced before next season. We also thought that the dead bugs could be periodically cleaned off of the upper deck area to make sitting there more enjoyable. We have planned to rent this house again next summer. I would highly recommend it!"

"The location was fantastic. Close to beach and also within walking distance to grocery shopping and some amenities. The house was big enough to accommodate our 10 adults and 8 children (including 3 infants from 6 months to 13 months). The pool and hot tub were exactly what we needed after a day at the beach or returning from shopping at Timbuck2…just 2miles away or Corolla and lighthouse…about 4.5 miles away. We were very happy that kitchen included 2 dishwashers, but the microwave was a little weird as it would start up on its own or keep cooking after you tried to turn it off. Decor was nice, best we have seen in over 6 trips to OBX. Recommend adding hooks to outdoor shower area to hang clothes or towels and maybe a soap dish. Also need to have a trash can in every bathroom (at least 2-3 bathrooms had no trash container). Kitchen was well stocked with lots of everything, including 2-3 coffee pots."

We are new owners and are in the process of making many upgrades to our home so that our guests will have an even better experience in the future. Your suggestions of hooks and a soap dish in the outdoor shower, as well as trash cans in each bathroom, will be added for next season in addition to the larger upgrades we have scheduled.
"-Location was great -Loved the double dish washer and number of utensils and dishes -Great layout of rooms -We thought the house could have been much cleaner ( floors, dusting, windows) -There should not be random grass growing around the pool area (this would be easy maintenance which would be more attractive) -The hot tub jets worked but the blowers were not working"
Thank you for your review. We are working with the management company on improving the quality of the cleaning of our home. We have hired a regular landscaper to maintain the exterior of our home. We also expect to have a new hot tub installed by next season in addition to many other improvements. "The house was nice and clean. The front window was missing its screen for the downstairs bedroom and their was no screen on the slider door on second floor. Since it was cool at night we could have utilized that. Overall the house was fine."
