Really, everything about the home is wonderful. It's extremely private with a lovely pool and hot tub and the hosts have done everything possible to make for a comfortable stay. It's pet-friendly, which is a rare and wonderful find, and because Duck beaches allow dogs, it was great to walk the few short blocks to the beach and introduce our puppy to the ocean. There are a fair number of stairs (common for OBX) but the owners have even taken the trouble to provide a special lift for heavy suitcases. It's also close to Duck town center and if you're inclined to play tennis, you have access to the community club. I heartily recommend!
Wade-Inn is a FANTASTIC home. There are a lot of steps so that is something to be aware of, but it is within walking distance of the beach and the sound. It also has a pool. The home has everything you need and is decorated nicely. The house feels very private even though there are homes around it. If you are looking for a quiet, roomy home with a pool that allows pets, this is the one!
A very comfortable home. This was our third year there and we have no complaints.

1) Do you need to drive to the beach or is it walkable? 2) Are there businesses (beer gardens!) that are walkable? 3) is there anything that we would not need a car to get to? Thank you!
Asked by Michelle 4/5/2015
Answer Hi Michelle, the home B110 is less than a mile south of our rental office which is located in the Town of Duck; roughly less than a 20 minute walk into town from the home or an even shorter bike ride if you opt to rent bikes for your stay. Also, the home is only 0.2 miles which is just a short walk from the community beach access located at the end of Tuckahoe Drive.Answered by Twiddy on 4/5/2015
