Sunset Splendor was absolutely the best home we have ever stayed in. It was apparent that the owners are proud of this home. Loved all the little extra's, from the needlepoint pictures hanging on the wall to the very well stocked kitchen. Especially loved the sunroom and the theater room!! Spent most every evening watching movies. There was no need to bring videos as there are hundreds there at the house. The house was so large that we continually got lost in it! The view of the sound and the sunsets were perfect. Loved having the trolley to take you to the resort, so very convenient. My only request would be for a intercom so you could find your children in this huge house! Loved everything about it!! Thanks for a wonderful family vacation.
Very nice home, We have stayed in this house 5 years in a row. We love the location and of course the sunsets. We met the owners this year, as they were having some new furniture delivered. Delightful people. Have never been disappointed. Plan to return to the same house next year. Already put a hold on it. Every time we think about another house or location, we ask ourselves why...?

I just have a few questions though. What are the chances of getting the private swimming pool opened a few weeks earlier if weather permitted? Is the pool heated? Also does the trolley come and pick you up at the door? Thank you ~Erica
Asked by Erica 8/9/2013
Answer Erica, we are not able to open the pools early in the season, and this pool does not have a heater. The community trolley runs during the summer months, and does not go door-to-door, but rather, there are designated, and well-marked stops convenient to all homes!Answered by Twiddy on 8/11/2013
