It is that time of the year again; time to feast and gather the family to spend some quality time together! And what better way to spend Thanksgiving at the OBX than to stay at a home that has a kitchen with the top-notch equipment to host and create your perfect Thanksgiving spread. Here at Twiddy, we have voted on which homes in our rental program include our favorite kitchens and that are an excellent fit to hold your special Thanksgiving festivities. With Thanksgiving approaching in just a few days, there are several homes that will fit your specific needs for you and the entire family.

#10- “No Worries” (T31987T)

No worries are to be had at this home, especially with the beautiful open-concept great room, including the gorgeous kitchen! With unique design touches, gorgeous counters, and plenty of space, “No Worries” is perfect for hosting a cozy lunch or dinner for you and your family.

#9- “The Big House” (G205)

Professionally and thoughtfully decorated by one of the most sought after designers on the Outer Banks, this home is sure to become your family’s favorite new vacation home! The top level of the home features an open great room, dining area and kitchen, perfect for large family gatherings and entertainment. And ideal to present a Thanksgiving gathering with your family and loved ones!

#8- “Les Dunes” (B985)

Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within the prestigious, oceanfront community of Palmer’s Island, this estate is one of the only properties on the Outer Banks with an Audubon reserve on two sides and views of the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound. With 10 bedrooms and a guest house, there is room to host a beautiful Thanksgiving meal. Two stoves and ovens, and two dishwashers make cooking and cleaning up very doable after the meal as well. The dining room seats for 24 people and has amazing decor to add to the dinner! We love this home and the incredible kitchen.

#7- “Sound to Sea Beach Club” (EC3)

The design of “Sound to Sea Beach Club” was carefully developed to offer both private spaces for sanctuary and very generous gathering places for socializing and enjoying events. Which makes this home an excellent choice to host a wonderful Thanksgiving or any holiday meals!

#6- “Aphrodite” (KD1627)

The kitchen here at “Aphrodite” is fully stocked for the most demanding food connoisseurs! This kitchen is built to host an amazing event or any laid-back, cozy dinner with your family. This home was a must on our list!

#5- “Champagne Chateau” (B894)

Designed in the style of grand beach manors of a bygone era for gatherings of family and friends, but still cozy enough for a few, this is “Champagne Chateau.”  Enjoy ocean views from the master suite or cooking in the large kitchen with several work stations for food preparation by either extended family or caterer. The kitchen also has an alcove bar area boasting an under-counter wine cooler, refrigerator and a wall of pull-out pantry cabinets. For eating the dining room highlight is the Venetian wax white and blue walls. A picture-window bay on the east brings in the light and ocean vista.

A uniquely designed eight bedroom home with 270 degree decks offers expansive views of the wide and wonderful beaches in Whalehead. The well-appointed gourmet kitchen will appeal to all and offers the convenience of a coffee bar. Enjoy time with family and friends in front of the cozy fireplace or convene in the dining area for a large family dinner! This home is one of many of our favorites!

#2- “Ain’t Misbehavin” (E228)

Enjoy a massive kitchen with commercial appliances, warming drawers, ice maker, appetizer sink and a teak coffee bar. Entertain from the wet bars on every floor with ice makers and refrigerators. While cooking a great meal for you and your group, you will also have a beautiful view of the ocean! We love this home!
