One-half (1/2) the base rent plus the optional Travel Insurance premium must be received by Twiddy within 48 hours of the lease date when paying electronically and within seven days when sending payment by mail. Leases are signed electronically through the guest login. Guests without an e-mail address will receive their lease by mail. (Sample lease is available to view here.) Reservations not confirmed by a payment and signed lease within the allotted time are subject to cancellation without notice. Payment may be made by personal check, e-check, cash, certified check, money order, debit or credit card. We accept only US Funds drawn on a US Bank and MasterCard, Visa and the Discover Card if paying by credit card. All payments are due 30 days prior to arrival. For reservations made less than 30 days before arrival, payment is due at the time of booking and must be made by e-check, cashier's check, money order, or credit card. Please note personal checks are not accepted within 30 days of arrival and e-checks are not accepted within 14 days of arrival. The charge for returned checks is $25.00. Checks will not be re-deposited and must be replaced with a money order, cashier’s check or credit card payment within seven days.

The All Seasons Travel Plan is offered on all lease agreements. We strongly recommend that you make it a part of your vacation plans. The plan offers some of today’s best available insurance coverage for vacationers to help with common travel problems such as flight delays, medical emergencies, unpredictable weather, including hurricanes, and lost or damaged luggage. The plan also includes a complete suite of 24-hour travel assistance services available for virtually any request from roadside assistance to restaurant reservations.
The All Seasons Travel Plan covers the rental rate and taxes paid for the home you reserve. Some restrictions may apply; additional information regarding the insurance is available below. The non-refundable fee for this travel insurance is based on your total balance due and is not subject to tax. The total cost for the insurance is included in your initial balance due, but you may decline the travel insurance coverage. The initial balance due would then be the amount indicated on your lease, less the exact cost of the insurance (also indicated on your lease). We strongly urge you to purchase the All Seasons Travel Plan to cover your vacation investment. If, however, you decline the travel insurance you will not be entitled to a refund, including in the case of a mandatory hurricane evacuation. There is a limited number of 1:00 pm check-ins available on a first-come-first-served basis for $95.00 plus tax. Requests must be made and confirmed by phone and paid for in advance of arrival. The fee applies whether or not you arrive by the designated time. Services such as pool and hot tub cleaning and some maintenance calls may not be completed prior to Early Check-In; guests should anticipate service personnel arriving throughout the afternoon and early evening. We cannot offer this service for certain homes, including those with seven or more bedrooms or homes occupied by owners the preceding week. Early Check-In cannot be absolutely guaranteed, however, the fee will be refunded if the home is unavailable at 1:00 pm.
Current-year guests are given the first opportunity to request the same home and timeframe for the following year (some restrictions apply). The same home and timeframe is held for current-year guests until 12:00 pm on the Monday following their departure.All repeat Twiddy guests interested in booking a different home for the next year have from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the Monday following the current-year guest's departure to request an Advance Property Hold. At 9:00 am on the Tuesday following the current-year guest's departure, Advance Property Holds are offered to all guests on a first-come-first-served basis. For those not renting with Twiddy in the current year, we strongly recommend calling at 9:00 am on the Tuesday following the week in which you are interested for the next year. It is best to call us with several vacation home choices in mind due to limited availability.
A non-refundable fee of $50.00 (subject to change), which is not applied to the rent, holds the home off the market until a lease is sent in the fall. At that time, the initial payment is required to secure the reservation. Advance Property Holds are not reservations, but tentative holds that are contingent upon two factors: 1) the home must be in our program the following year, and 2) the dates must be made available by the homeowner. If there is a conflict with either of these two requirements, the Advance Property Hold will be void and your money will be refunded. The Advance Property Hold does not lock in current-year rates. Guests have the option of declining the Advance Property Hold with no refund after the homeowners have set their rental rates for the following year. The $50.00 fee will be reflected on the lease agreement sent in the fall, but it is not applied to the rental fee.
