The Pine Island Airstrip is now being managed by FlightGest. FlightGest, Inc., a leading provider of regional air charter and aircraft management services with headquarters in North Carolina, has been selected as the manager of Pine Island airstrip effective October 17, 2007. FlightGest operates flights at the Pine Island airstrip year-round and can help visitors and residents of Pine Island, Duck, Corolla and neighboring communities identify the best transportation for their particular needs. Please note that explicit written authorization is required prior to use of Pine Island airstrip on a per-trip basis.
