Whalehead Cabin is a 4 BR Oceanfront home that is the perfect vacation retreat for a single family or even two small families to gather, relax and enjoy each other.  The ocean views, in which you are surrounded by from the porch and private walkway, are absolutely amazing!

Pros:

• The perfect home for a single family vacation (or two small families).  This is one of the few 4 bedroom Oceanfront houses around.
• It has ocean views from the porch and a private walkway to the beach.
• At the end of your walkway, you can find my favorite dune deck in town.  This deck is actually located on the beach, pushed off of the dune line.  You can look up and down the beach in both directions.  This is very rare to come across on the Outer Banks.

Cons:

• This is a basic beach house.  It does not contain all the bells and whistles associated with most new homes on the Outer Banks.  It is more of a classic beach house, designed for people to enjoy the beach.
• Pool access does not come with this house.  But who needs a pool when your backyard is the ocean?

Whalehead Cabin is a classic 4 BR oceanfront home in Whalehead offering a cozy vacation for a single family and a fabulous dune deck to capture the amazing ocean views, smells and sounds.  This home is perfect if you want a vacation where you can just relax, enjoy the ocean and each other.

Pros:

• This oceanfront home has a fabulous dune deck. The substantially-sized dune deck is located directly on the beach, and it features wraparound benches.
• The home is ideal for a single family that travels to the Outer Banks primarily to go to the beach.
• The décor in the home is very traditional and characteristic of old Nags Head beach houses.

Cons:

• This is a “no frills” type of home. There are no amenities such as hot tub, internet access, or a game room.
• There is no private pool at the home, and there is no community pool access in Whalehead.
• The furniture is classic, old-fashioned beach house style.

 

Whalehead Cabin is a 4 BR oceanfront home that would be great for a small family that wanted a cozy vacation home to spend some time together and some fun at the beach.  Home offers a great dune deck with amazing ocean views.  You are just steps to the ocean in this classic beach home.

Pros:

• This home would be great for a small family that wanted a no frills oceanfront house.
• There is a great dune deck on the beach.
• All rooms are on one level which would be nice for people that don’t want to go up and down a lot of stairs to get from their bedroom to the great room area.

Cons:

• This house is a very basic older style beach home. 
• There isn’t a private pool nor is there a community pool.
• I am not a huge fan of the linoleum floor in the bathrooms
